This poll is soooo US-centric, I haven't even heard of half of the places. Anyways, I picked "other" as the best is home-made, or one from an independent Italian restaurant that isn't part of a fast food chain!
I was pretty much raised on Pizza Hut, but I think Dominos is pretty good now. Best kind? Ham and Pineapple! I had a BBQ Chicken pizza once or twice that were awesome, though.
Pizza is a lot like sex: Even when it's bad, it's still pretty good. If we're talking popular chains, I prefer Greco, with Pizza Delight at a close second. Ultimately though, I prefer two spots by the names of Michael's Pizzeria and Jack's Pizza.
I can never eat pizza hut pizza again not after the last one i ordered from them, it was all sloppy made me almost throw up >.< Doms all the way for me now!
Gotta go with the original, the king, the master of all pizza toppings: PEPPERONI! :eusa_danc And the best place that i have ever got a nice slice of both Chicago and New York pizza is a small pizzeria that i have in my small town "Bub 'n Ella's". Flippin' good stuff.
Lou Malnati's ------------------------------------------------- Thin Crust - Nancy's (where I used to work lol) Deep Dish - Gino's East Ugghhhh...I'm hungry, and now I want pizza xD
For me, it's a local joint called Carbones. I always get sausage and pepperoni there, and both their white and red sauces are great. Even their wings are amazing. The pizza tastes like its made fresh daily, sauce tastes home made, and it looks like they take the time to cut their own pepperoni. The place is immaculate. You can see they really pride themselves on having a good product, and it shows with all the repeat customers they have. For a national chain, it's Sbarros.
Pretty much. But for chain pizza I like Pizza Hut once in a while. I basically load my pizza with ham and cheese. Don't need anything else.
my fav sort of pizza is practically any spicy vegetarian one! I really don't like pepperoni or really any meat on pizza, I can cope with fajita chicken though
Popping into any random corner pizza place in Boston you can get a pizza 10x better than any of the chains listed. I do like Pizza Hut and all, but if there are any pizza places in your area better than those, I feel a little sad for you.
I used to eat pizza from local restaurants that were not chains. Sometimes I ate at Pizza Hut or Round Table, but it all tasted similar. Now I'm allergic to dairy and gluten, so "I don't like pizza!" I've had homemade without cheese and with gluten-free dough that was fine, but it seems like such a hassle to try and recreate something I can't eat anyway.
I admittedly don't have the broadest experiences in pizza, but my favourite that I know is the pizza place at my uni. Otherwise, though, ones that I've made myself tend to be rather awesome.
Greco Pizza is my favorite, their sauce makes the pizza awesome. http://img339.imageshack.us/img339/1742/partypizza.png
There's this little Italian grocery/convenience store around the corner from where I work, they use homemade sauce and crust and lotsa cheese and it's cheap, cheap cheap. If I'm ordering, it'll usually be 241 Pizza or Pizza Pizza as they deliver pretty quickly. EDIT: Also, some of us don't live in New York, Boston or Chicago, therefore have to get by on commercial pizza from time to time.
I like my pizza from the oven. Cheaper that way. Plus, the only one i've heard of is pizza hut, and they don't have any of those near me.
