None of the options fit me well, we're a tough bunch to label :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:, so I checked "green lesbian".

So yeah, I am quite green. But I am also skeptical of the heavy political side of the green movement. I have enough education in the relevant field to understand what global warming is and how it works, so I know how important it is to do something about how we spend our resources before it is way too late.

I'd like to make a contribution to the energy-production side of the problem. What I am doing now for the next year actually has the potential to help making solar panels more efficient, so I feel particularly good about that

I guess i'm a bit of both, I'll admit I do waste quite a lot of electricity :frowning2: but I do recycle when I need to, it's always fun hearing the glass bottles smash

I'm not green at all. If I have something recyclable and a recycle bin, I'll use it, but that's about it really. Unfortunately, recycling rules are confusing at best so I usually stay safe and stick plastic and all that jazz in with the other crap.

I wouldn't say that I am green as such, although I do care for the environment. I recycle as much as possible, I walk to the shops most of the time. But I don't agree with a lot of stuff in green politics and green politicians, as I think that they are misleading the public a lot when it comes to 'green solutions', they over exaggerate and I think they are a bunch of hypocrites.

I think wealth needs to be redistributed, I am not saying that you can't be rich. But I think that they should tax the wealthier and big corporations more.

I should actually go into more detail about that. I in no way support the current system in the United States and believe that most Wall Street executives should be in prison.

I believe in a more moderate system (similar to the system in Australia) but a bit further to the left.

    I guess im fairly green
Im vegetarian, so vegetables are my thing >_<.. i recycle, try and use a tote bag whenever i go shopping so i don't have to take a paper or plastic one (long beach, and soon to be lakewood are pushing people to do this as grocery stores will charge you for a paper bag, and no longer give plastic ones)
My OCD comes in handy with certain things i guess, I have pretty much convinced myself that if i don't unplug everything in my room, that it will start a fire

I try to be, though I'm pretty realistic, too.

I'm vegetarian, I do pet rescue, and my recycle bins fill up WAY quicker than my garbage can. I 'compost' (honestly I just throw veggie scraps in the flower bed). My pets still eat meat, and I drive a car. But, hey, I try to do the best I can.

    I am a destruction-of-the-world-conscious almost-communist

I'm fairly good. I use little electricity other than my laptop. (and the other one. But thats not usually on). I make sure power is cut to my electronic stuff when not using them. I recycle. I make my family recycle. I turned off the hot water so we only shower (as than doesn't use the boiler) and I bought another duvet instead of putting the heating on (ye, we couldn't afford it but hey). I also sign petitions

I do eat meat. And a small amount of fish. I also eat cheese. And thats pretty much it... so I suppose you could say that growing my veg doesn't take up much space

Politically, I'm (very)^100 left wing. And of the opinion that the type of socialism that the current political system in the UK offers is BS because it basically involves taxing more, giving the same amount of money back to society and embezzling the rest. But I'm not a total communist since that is almost as corrupt. However, I may be for robot communism. I mean, have you ever heard of a selfish robot?

may have gone a little off topic there...

No. Not green. There's a definite little communist down inside, but I don't own a car. I think people with cars are spectacular. I think all the gas wars around the world are definitely worth going to a bookstore and piling ten books on top of the other and weaving them out to the trunk in order to drive to the park for a nap in the back and a quick slide to Home Depot to buy a ladder and a great big garbage can, then stopping by the house to drop them off before heading to the Market for eight giant plastic bags of hamburger and cheese, processed food and bottled water before driving up the coast to the beautiful land of the celebrities and palm trees. Nope. I say let's waste gas. Let's drill. Let's pile tires out across the land and squish the metal parts to robot-like roaches. Let's buy new, silver computerized gas and steel guzzlers! And don't forget me while your'e at it; I can tell the communist in my soul to go on home; I gotta pick my wheels.

Wait, using duvets instead of the heater makes you green? I thought that was just being poor? I mean, I knew I was green, but my winter setup of 2 duvets, 7 blankets and 2 cats must make me super-green.....

Unfortunately not. I'd like to do alot more though, but my OCD and personal issues at the time make that difficult. (Not that that's any excuse.) I'm vegan, but other than that I need to work on alot of things.

    No...and yes.

I proudly drive an outrageously expensive SUV that guzzles gas like there is no tomorrow.

I don't recycle...because I'm either too drunk, hungover, busy or lazy to do so...besides that, I really don't care about recycling sadly...and I always use plastic instead of paper...even when I have to pay that absurd "bag tax" in Washington.

But...I do always take The Metro when I'm in DC..so that should count for something...being public transportation and all.

    I'm a queer capitalist pig.

Well, both. The heater costs too much. Cats are quite warm when they sleep on you aren't they?
