So something a little on the lighter side. If you have been married/are going to be married/dream about getting married/domestic partnershipped to a partner of the same sex, what 1. Both wearing tuxes 2. Both wearing dresses 3. One wearing a tux, the other wearing a dress Not that there's any right answer, I'm just curious. Me, I'm a female, but I dream about getting married in a tux, with my partner in a wedding dress.
Double tux for the win! I'm guessing this thread is a little more geared towards the female population here though
Geared towards the female population?! NO WAY! I, for one, am interested in clothing... My choice would be double tux! But there should be something special about them not just looking like "any other tux". Maybe it's the cut, or the fabric, or the style...something!
I never imagined my wedding in a dress.. so a nice suit, or tux for me.. and whatever my future wife would prefer to wear.
Hmmm I never really thought about the other person...or my wedding much lol But I definately would want to wear a dress on the shorter side, not so traditional because I want to feel relaxed and I feel like long dresses restrict me haha Either way though, if they want to wear a dress or tux, I'm goood!
Haha I love clothes too, don't get me wrong I meant for most people ere who identify as guys, te answer will probably be double tux. And yes for sure. Something super stylish haha
T-shirts. See, we'd get marriage in the court house or town hall (wherever they perform them when a church isn't involved) so we can save our money for an awesome party to throw afterward. And what to wear to that party? I abhor formal parties, so our attire would probably be similar.
I want this wedding. And I get to be Han Solo. Seriously, words cannot describe the fun that would result from a theme wedding of space opera proportions. Oh yeah, and I want this to be the first dance (choreographed of course):
wedding??? i don't think i'm ever going to get married and don't plan on it either. i want to have kids though despite the chances looking grim. :icon_sad:
I think I'd like to wear a femenine suit, and whatever my partner wears is up to them (though I love dresses). I will probably change my mind though! as I have 10, 20, something, years before I need to worry about getting married if I do at all, and I might marry a man in which case I would be happy to wear a dress. Meh, I'm only 14!
We just had to make a poster like this for RS C: I think I'd wear a dress with converse- but I may change my mind...- and they could wear what they wanted, but a white tux, red skinny jeans, white shirt, black bow tie look amazing -.o that's what's on the poster anyhow
If I could pull off a dress without looking completely goofy, I'd do it. Why not try something different, eh? Also, I don't really "do" marriage.
If I ever do get married, I think I'd just wear a black suit/tux. He can wear what he wants, I think it's a little creepy/presumptuous to be picking out clothes for somebody I haven't met yet. I doubt I will end up married though. The idea of so many of my family members in one place with all their waspish passive aggression focused onto me and my decisions is making me feel a little ill and I'm probably 10/20 years away from getting married if I do it at all. Even without that, I don't think I could stand having so much attention, I'm not used to getting any really.
Double dresses for me! Both of us in just these beautiful, long, flowing white gowns, with satin and lace, and each of holding bouqets! Thatès how Ive always pictured it!
I dig Han Solo's wardrobe, especially his holster but I think I would like to get married in Luke's swanky yellow jacket. While we're at it I think I'd like to have the Throne Room music playing rather than Wagner.
To differentiate from most of the androgynous lesbians who want to wear tuxes, I'd definitely wear a dress, probably on the glamour-ish side of things because I like dressing up for occasions. And I would love to have my make-up done by a make-up artist and have my hair done as well. I'm not sure what kind of dress I would go for, if I would go for the traditional white or something a bit different, but definitely something quite fitted that shows off my figure but isn't slutty. I'm definitely not one for tuxes, and would probably feel very uncomfortable in one.
