    Ah...that ...yes there's Princess Mononoke and Mononoke...and they're both creepy hahaha...but i was referring to Mononoke actually :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:.

    I'd highly recommend Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. It's my favourite anime, by far. Such a dark overall theme, and so many miniplots. Warning, though, it can get a little emotionally intensive.

    Someone already mentioned it but Paranoia Agent is a crazy good one. Psychologically disturbing and incredibly eerie. It's not that many episodes and every episode tells someone else's story which all intertwine. It's all about the insanity of the world, lies, cover ups and a very creepy Hello Kitty like character called Mellow Meromi.

    I just finished watching Deadman Wonderland it was awesome :grin: but I really hope they have season 2 because so many things were left unanswered D;

    I'm shocked Gantz isn't already on the list, lol. Also Ga Rei Zero is pretty dark in some parts. Le Portrait de Petite Cossette is really good too. Others on my list are Highschool of the Dead, Hell Girl, and I know Higurashi was already mentioned but there are sooo many different seasons it's ridiculous, though deliciously creepy.

    There are more but these are off the top of my head.

    I'll have to say Shiki is pretty disturbing at times. The special episodes really got me to cover my eye and glance a bit. I also yelped at a few parts. I'm going to start Higurashi soon.

    Defintely Higurashi and Elfen Lied are pretty disturbing at times.
    Yet their my favorites.

    Dude Elfen Lied is one of my favorites! It was probably my first anime I watched subtitled.

    I don't really watch so many 'creepy' ones, but I get to them when I can.

    Umineko is a masterpiece. I hope they make a second season.

    Baccano! is also worth watching. It's about alchemy and the Mafia.

    I've been watching Hell Girl, it's a pretty sad anime o_o it's about people entering a covenant with some spirit in order to avenge themselves and send the person they're gettining revenge on to an immdiate horrible death and sent to hell but the person who entered the covenant will also be sent to hell when they die :s it's a really interesting and sad anime
