That's very sweet. He's a lucky guy. One thing Aspies crave is to find someone who understands them and accepts their limitations. It would seem obvious that putting two Aspies together might be the right idea, but in general this does not work too well. An Aspie and a neurotypical can work well, in a case like yours. It's especially nice if the geek side has the socially skilled side to act as the "horse whisperer" to interpret those complicated social situations.
