i like that name because of the fact that its unusual and unheard of. i dont get tired of names that are really popular like john and jessica. and i havent heard anyone named gage either. i like it

oh and i cant imagine changing my name. i like it. it would be weird to change it..lol. but i guess if i have to it would be um... something like Maximilian

I used to hate my name, I've warmed up to it now.
I'd change my name to... maybe Preston or Andy?

Not many people have my name. But I'd love to, because so many people confuse it with "Alejandro," despite there being no j or h in my name (Lady Gaga has amplified this affect ten-fold). I'd change it to James, with a nickname of "Jamie."

Well, I would probably change my name to Madison, to be honest. It isn't much different, but I think Madelynn is so cringe-worthy..

My legal name is Lizzette, so I plan on changing it to Leif as soon as I can.

Honestly, I love my name, and would prefer to never change it. If I was forced to change it, though, it would go from Garion to Remiem. I'm already used to the name, since it's my name in one of my games that uses voice chat, and I like the nickname "Rem" much more than "Gary."

(For those who are wondering, I reeeeeeeally like fantasy names that start with or use the letter R. I don't know why, honestly...)

  11. My name is Paige and I used to feel the same way as you about having an unusual name. When I was growing up there was NO ONE else named Paige at all. (there's been a recent influx of Paiges since then. It's becoming a more popular name I guess...probably because I'm so cool, obvs.) But nowadays I like having my name be just MINE.

But if I HAD to change my name, I'd probably pick something else that's not too common. Like Bay. Or Lucine. Or Avery.

I like my name because there are only about 100 persons with the same name in the whole of Finland.

I love the name Oliver so I'd probably choose that.

If I had to, does just changing to a more interesting spelling of your name count? Jacen is so much more interesting than Jason.

Otherwise, I've always liked the names Aaron, Alex, Isaac or Bob. Wait, scratch that last one.

Depends on what the occasion is. If I have to change it because I'm entering a religious fraternity, or ascending te throne (unlikely, but it's good to have a backup plan , I'd go with something completely archaic. Like Makarios, or Dagobert.

If I'm entering witness protection and have to stick to more common names, I think I'd either default to my middle name: Arthur. Though one other name I also really like is Wouter (which would be the Dutch version of Walter)

People at work sometimes joke I should change it to Frederik. Somehow some of my colleagues always call me Frederik instead of Filip, to the point where I start replying to Frederik as well xD

Nitpick: that's a Georgian name, not Russian. Also, it was Stalin's last name, so you might want to be careful where in Russia you use it :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Ah, thanks for the correction on the origin of the name! That is something that I was actually aware of but I guess I was thinking in terms of the Russian Empire :rolleyes:

And yeah, I knew it was Stalins name. But hey, its still cool :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
