    1. When I was like 14.

    2. Healthy in moderation.

2b. Because they're told porn is often nasty, yet there's that inner mindset of "this is probably bad so why not?"

    1. I was 10 when I started looking at regular images in a pornographic way. I've never watched porn videos or read porn magazines. I literally look up images of men who are fully-clothed (or shirtless sometimes) but have a particular body shape or face that I think is attractive.

    2. I would guess that when a person finds porn attractive, it validates their sexuality by having their desires represented by an institution ("This video is mass produced, so it's normal to find it attractive! I'm normal!"). However, I think people's attraction is shaped by what they are exposed to, so when porn does not feature diverse representations of people then people are limited to what they may find physically attractive. I think.

2b. Masturbation feels good so people do it. Yet there is a strong viewpoint in society that casual sex is immoral. The solution is to be discrete.

1 - (For those who view it or have viewed it) At what age did you start looking at porn?
8-10yo? We stole our cable from our neighbors. Stumbled upon it by accident all thanks to HBO

2 - Do you think that porn is healthy or unhealthy? Why?
Both. Studies have shown the negative aspects of porn. Depends on what you watch and who you talk to after you watch it. For most couples though it can be healthy in exploring each other and also breaking some barriers.

2b - Why are so many teenagers guilty of viewing it but yet, at the same time, continue to look at it?
In America we get 2 Messages
    1) Sex sells so be and fell sexy
    2) In America you don't talk to your children about sex you let the schools do it and then bitch at them for talking to children about sex because sex is bad and you shouldn't do it.

I have a question for you though. What do you consider PORN?

1 - (For those who view it or have viewed it) At what age did you start looking at porn?
For me i only started watching port at around the age of 13 or 14, but never videos, only pictures of naked men with boners but no sexual acts... at that time i found the actual sexual act repulsive, yet blowjobs was kinda ok.

2 - Do you think that porn is healthy or unhealthy? Why?
In moderation it is healthy. It helps you to open your mind to new things and help you explore your own body, finding out what works for you and what doesn't. It can also help you to find out what kind of people you find attractive and what not, what part of the body you are attracted to and what not.

Having said this though, too much porn can be a problem that might have phycological issues.

2b - Why are so many teenagers guilty of viewing it but yet, at the same time, continue to look at it?
I think its more to do with them finding themselves, their sexuality and what not. in the time before magazines and TV teenagers used to explore other teenager's bodies or themselves. It's just normal yet society is dumping it down their thoughts by the massive amounts of porn sites out there.

    3. What do you consider PORN?
People doing sexual acts I see as outright porn, while solo pictures of naked people can be viewed as a form of art.

I define porn and any image, video, or written passage that helps you achieve an orgasm and is not interesting to you for any other reason. Regardless of the explicitness or lack-there-of of the video or picture, that's how I define porn. So yes, that makes what is and isn't porn an incredibly subjective thing, for it means that the pictures I look at, in which 99% of the guys are wearing pants and are alone in the picture, count as porn to me. If it is interesting to you for a non-erotic reason, that makes it erotic art.

Started watching it at around ten or so

I think it's healthy. The typical "end result" is healthy.

1-I started viewing it for my own pleasure when I was about 14.

2-It is healthy in moderation and don't let it control your life.

2b-Society has raised us to think of sex as a shameful thing, we shouldn't be looking at other peoples bodies like that, it's a private matter. It's sad to me because the human body is beautiful and we should embrace our sexuality!

1-I've seen some and I hate it, but I will read certain stories... not until this past year or so I guess. i've never masturbated, though.

2-It can be healthy if it helps you get an orgasm, I suppose, or if it helps you figure things out. It can be unhealthy if it creates unrealistic expectations that harm your experience of sex with other people.

2b-Guilty because society/your family/whatever says it's wrong, because you watch it in secret. Keep watching because it makes you feel good, you believe that you need to/are expected to by friends.

1 - (For those who view it or have viewed it) At what age did you start looking at porn?
I think I started looking when I was 12, after getting turned on to it by a friend. Started "using" it at 13 or so.

2 - Do you think that porn is healthy or unhealthy? Why?
I think that for the most part, it's very healthy. The sexual release is quite healthy, I'm told, and I have to say it definitely increases my mood for a bit afterwards. Also, it really helped me (personally) sort out my own orientation confusions.

2b - Why are so many teenagers guilty of viewing it but yet, at the same time, continue to look at it?
I think, like others have said, the good outweighs the bad. I know I used to feel guilty afterwards a lot of times, but the pleasure (along with curiosity) kept me coming back. I hardly ever feel guilty anymore, though. After realizing that it is a normal and healthy thing to do I think is when the guilt went away.

    1) When I was 12, I think :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
    2) I think it's healthy; I think you can learn something (new) about your body and who you are
    3) Idk really, I've never felt guilty about doing it  If people are talking about it, however, I would probably not be the one talking the loudest of me and my experience with porn.

I hope you understand what I'm saying

Ah, the all-time clarifier for this topic was missing! Thanks for catching that.

When I say porn, I mean any depicting image, normally human, that causes sexual arousal and gives a need for a reproductive orgasmic release. This thread was aimed specifically at media porn (computer websites, DVD's, posters and pin-up's, peepshows and such). I think some people think that I'm only referring to the Computer and T. V., but I was actually including all within the large range of ways one can look at a non-real arousing image or listen to an arousing sound and be "turned on" by it.

    1 - At 13-14 years old I'd say.
2 - Well, if done in moderation I guess you'll know better what you like / don't like

2b - I don't really get what you mean with 'guilty of viewing it' >:

Porn is porn. It serves a purpose. I don't like gay porn though as I find it kind of gross. As it's usually bald oiled up muscular guys and it just looks disgusting I don't know why. Lol

Guy on guy can be beautiful but I think porn is meh. I prefer anime porn haha they atleast attempt a story and the production costs are better lol. Stories is also better aswell.

14 for straight porn. 16 for gay porn.

2 - Do you think that porn is healthy or unhealthy? Why?
Porn is a healthy in a way that it does quench our 'thirst'.

2b - Why are so many teenagers guilty of viewing it but yet, at the same time, continue to look at it?
Nah. I don't really feel guilty. In fact, I am proud of it.

1 - (For those who view it or have viewed it) At what age did you start looking at porn?

As long as I can remember, I accidentally started and viewed porn when I was around 10 because of my cousin who insisted we watch it. But because of a child's curiosity, I ended up watching it (because he also dragged me into watching it). Well, that was straight porn. I continued watching it 'til I turned 12 or 13 that I started having fantasies from written fiction of two males also because of girls' influences. Then around that time too I started viewing videos from mere curiosity u to now. But, oddly, it seems their appeal to me seems to be degrading as time goes by.

2 - Do you think that porn is healthy or unhealthy? Why?
I think it's just a so-so. It's healthy because it lets things out of your systems and it somehow relieves stress. But it's unhealthy too because it could poison someone's mind and trigger perversion, in some cases.^^

2b - Why are so many teenagers guilty of viewing it but yet, at the same time, continue to look at it?

I'm in GREAT trouble if someone finds me watching gay porn. People are very judgmental nowadays. They don't even know what's the difference between bisexual and gay in here >.>

    1. I tried it when I was 13 but never really went back to it until I was almost 16
    2. I think it is ok as long as it is in moderation and doesnt take over your sex life
2b. because society has made it a taboo along with masturbation and other sex related subjects but sexual desire is stronger than the guilt

    1 - When I was 14 I found it.

2 - I think its unhealthy, Now this is only opinion. Porn, I find, Gives the wrong idea about what sex looks like. I feel it also de-sensitises people to some hard stuff (Rape, Gore and snuff). I guess it could be healthy to discover what you like.

    2b - Teenagers are horny.
