Finally got in! *waiting for email now* That was way too perfect too. I was just about to fall asleep and looked up suddenly and refreshed the page and there it was waiting for me. But then annoying sony page came up so I tried again and it led me straight to registration page. Awesomeee.
Hemera, I haven't heard yet, but they have been posting time frames on the Insiders blog at Pottermore Insider, so keep an eye on that. For anyone who was curious, today's clue was SUPER easy. It was How many wizards participated in the Triwizard Tournament? Multiply that times 28. I got in (FINALLY!), but I was a little sad because the quill didn't work right today, so I didn't actually get to find the quill. It took me to a SONY page first and there was no quill, and then when I refreshed (after freaking out for like 10 minutes trying to find it lol), it took me right to the registration page. I guess they said it was because of high demand today not everyone could see the quill that was supposed to show in an ad?
the theory is that your welcome letter depends on which day you registered. day one people will get theirs possibly the moment pottermore opens, with day 2 being a few days to a week, and day three (me!!!) a few more days to a week after that.
Just checked, it is confirmed that today the clue will be open between 4:30 and 8PM BST. If you need to convert that for your time zone, there's some great converters online. As far EST which someone asked about, it is between 11:30AM and 3PM.

Nope that's wrong unless it filled up too quick. I found the quill at 1:52 but asked my bf if he wanted the account since i already had one. He didn't respond till after 2. When I finally decided to press "Register now" it was about 1:57PM EDT and it said "Sorry Day 5 is now closed" ---------- Post added 4th Aug 2011 at 03:49 PM ---------- Also for Day 6 the time frame is going to be between 1:30 and 4:00PM BST, and Day 7 is between 12:30AM - 3:00AM BST.
The time frame doesn't mean it will be open that whole time. It just means sometime in that time frame is when it will open, so just because it was closed at 2 doesn't mean the time frame is wrong.
