"Hold out, my sweet. Hold out, if you can." ~ Elphaba from Wicked- it's just so romantic, and i wish that she and Glinda had explored their obvious unsaid feelings for one another...

I don't agree with everything he says, but this one really stuck with me.

Don't ever let the media tell you what your body is supposed to look like, you're beautiful just the way you are. Keep it ugly. - Gerard Way

The first time I read your post, I tried to imagine how that quote could fit into the Leviathan. Studying Law can do strange things to you :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

My all-time favorite play. That exchange reminds me a little of Act V, Scene I

HAMLET- Let me see. [Takes the skull.] Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him,
Horatio. A fellow of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy. He
hath borne me on his back a thousand times. And now how abhorred
in my imagination it is! My gorge rises at it. Here hung those
lips that I have kiss'd I know not how oft. Where be your gibes
now? your gambols? your songs? your flashes of merriment that
were wont to set the table on a roar? Not one now, to mock your
own grinning? Quite chap- fall'n? Now get you to my lady's
chamber, and tell her, let her paint an inch thick, to this
favour she must come. Make her laugh at that. Prithee, Horatio,
    tell me one thing.
    HORATIO- What's that, my lord?
HAMLET-Dost thou think Alexander look'd o' this fashion i' th' earth?
    HORATIO- E'en so.
    HAMLET- And smelt so? Pah!
    [Puts down the skull.]
    HORATIO-E'en so, my lord.
HAMLET- To what base uses we may return, Horatio! Why may not
imagination trace the noble dust of Alexander till he find it
    stopping a bunghole?
HORATIO- 'Twere to consider too curiously, to consider so.
HAMLET- No, faith, not a jot; but to follow him thither with modesty
enough, and likelihood to lead it; as thus: Alexander died,
Alexander was buried, Alexander returneth into dust; the dust is
earth; of earth we make loam; and why of that loam (whereto he
was converted) might they not stop a beer barrel?
Imperious Caesar, dead and turn'd to clay,
Might stop a hole to keep the wind away.
O, that that earth which kept the world in awe
Should patch a wall t' expel the winter's flaw!

Someone has got to post this eventually:

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.

I only recently saw this quote but it just remained etched in my mind since I saw it (From Buffy the Vampire Slayer):

Spike:When I say I love you, it's not because I want you, or because I can't have you - it has nothing to do with me. I love what you are, what you do, how you try... I've seen your kindness, and your strength, I've seen the best and the worst of you and I understand with perfect clarity exactly what you are.

Light thinks that it is the fastest thing in the universe but no matter how fast it goes it always finds darkness waiting.
