I had Missery in the Final Four, but I was one of the biggest Norfolk State fans in the world yesterday. I hope they lose every every game they play. Traitor scum...It was also nice to finally have another 2 seed lose, so ISU's loss to the team-who-shall-not-be-named won't be brought up in every 2-15 game every year.

Yeah, they were a lot of fun to watch this year. Such a change from McDermott-ball. When they were rolling, it was just beautiful basketball. The 16-0 run to go up 36-14 against UConn was incredible.

Kentucky is just too good. They couldn't miss, and we couldn't hit anything tonight. Still put up a respectable fight, though. And Royce played his best game ever, against the best team in the country. If he decides to stay in Ames, we've got a team next year that could finally knock KU off the top of the Big 12. Man, I hope he stays...

Ah, of course - I know I need to wake up early to drive back to Bozeman tomorrow, and therefore cannot fall asleep for the life of me. Lovely

Yeah, Kentucky is just a step above everyone else - Syracuse is really the only team I could see playing defense well enough to neutralize all that talent. And they can match them length-wise.

Kansas v Iowa State next year, hmm...Kansas is really loading up on talented recruits, but they'll be young... Should be interesting - curious as to how Baylor and Texas will be too.

I was involved with this (the movie, not the party)...

Houston Teen Killed at 'Project X'-Inspired Party

All that's going through my mind is how to feel about this and what others involved with the film must be feeling about it. Seems really confusing and like a nightmare. It's just like being hit by something really terrible suddenly and not knowing how to react. I was only a little involved in the film and I'm feeling out of sorts and know some of the main guys who made it and can only guess what they're going through. And they're really cool nice guys. Mentors to me. They all have families of their own. It's just... really hard to process. Shit. Why did this have to happen? It's just a movie. Don't replicate it like this.

    ...Fuck...

Spending the weekend getting a trope ready to launch is annoying, boring, hard...

I lie. It's fun, profitable, and interesting. Even though I spend way too much time on TV Tropes as it is.

My sister gets two calls for job interviews this weekend while I get two rejection e-mails from prospective jobs.

Yep, just another day in my sucky life.

I got back from a two week spring break trip today to the news that one of my friends back home killed himself two days ago. I feel... empty.

First; my grandma has been really sick over the last few months and she went to Columbus a couple weeks ago for tests, but her doctor said it was likely that she had cancer. I don't know what kind it is, but last night my mom said that all of my cousins and stuff agreed to get tested to see if we could be potential donors, and that I should do it too. I obviously am going to get tested, and I hope we find a donor, but I'm almost hoping that I'm not a match. I don't know if I can emotionally deal with such a big decision like that, you know? If I had to I would do it without a second thought, but it's scary.

Secondly; My night out had a rough start but it was really nice. My mentor has become obsessed with my best friend. Last night he was drinking in some town I've never even heard of and he wanted me to come get him and his friends so they could hang out with us. I can't even imagine how awkward that would have been, considering he was drinking with some of my old high school teachers. Last night my bestie and I were sitting in Arby's wondering what we got ourselves into for a while... x_x
