    So my little brother told me that he and my older sister were discussing whether or not they thought I'd marry a white man or a black man. I probably shouldn't have, but I asked "What if I married a woman? What would you do with your life then?" He responded, "We'd talk about what color she's going to be!"

    Although I didn't actually come out, it's comforting to know that my little brother would be cool with it. I'm pretty sure he's at least a little bit gay himself, so I expected as much. Maybe we can have a joint coming-out :grin:

    I wonder how bringing home a girl ranks on the unacceptable scale compared to bringing home a white man...

    So I have the chance to see Tool this Winter and Puscifer this March... But I bet I'm not going to have the money to pay for it xD Major bummer. Oh well. As long as Maynard doesn't announce retirement it won't be the end of the world. Unless he does...

    Not too happy now. Just got a form to renew my passport. Number 20 asked if I am married. I am going to have to lie because of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) my marriage is not recognized by the federal government. UGH!

    Oh, Life, you sure are something. My mother got a call today saying that a family friend has died....the family friend that died was my first love's grandmother...so when I go to her funeral, I'll inevitably see him for the first time in almost a year. I don't know if I'm ready for this.

    You know, Life, I'd stick both my middle fingers up at you if I could, but I'm afraid of the consequences of doing that, quite honestly.
