    No state government shutdown! They waited to the last day, but the budget passed! And preschool was saved. I had been getting pessimistic about all of it...

    They actually passed a two-year budget here, so we're lucky enough not to have to watch the children in the captiol building and the governor's mansion in Des Moines go through this exact same process next year.

    Nope, school administration. Every days since the beggining of the week, they have reported the decision to close, or not, my class next year.
    Though yesterday evening, my inspector called the mayor to say they are closing my class so now I'm only waiting for confirmation.
    It's already not fun to lose my job and not to know what I'll be next year all summer long, but spending the week jolting from false hopes and disapointment, this is just too much.

    You know, sometimes, breaking up with friends or having a friendship coming to an end, can hurt as much as having a relationship fall apart. The loss of friendships can evoke the same emotions and feelings. It's okay to feel hurt and it is okay to shed some tears. But always remember that new friendships will eventually be built again.     Now it's done : my class is officially closed. I now have to wait the 30th August to know where I'll be assigned.
    Even if I knew that this was going to happened, for now I feel very upset.

    And with that, I have deactivated my FB account. It's something that I feel I need to do for now. I don't know how long I will keep it deactivated for, or even if I will return to it.
