Nah, I don't believe it. I (vaguely) remember all the panicpanicpanic in 2000, and it was all for nothing. 2012 I think will be no different... I mean, did everyone expect the Mayan calendar to go on forever and ever? They had to run out of rock eventually... Or they just figured that humans would be able to make a different calendar by then

I can't be bothered with all that crap, if something happens, then it does, but I'm not going to waste my valuable time worrying about it. That is also my outlook on Death, the Apocalypse and a bunch of other future things.

i forget if it was the 60's or the 70's but we added like 7 years to the calender to match up with another countries calender or something so if "something" were to happen on said date it would be in another 7 years

...No. No apocalypse will happen in 2012. No earth-shattering events will happen in 2012. What you have is a bad case of misinterpretation that has already been dealt with earlier on in this thread, and even if there was no misinterpretation, I wouldn't believe it anyway.

 

i myself am not sure if i believe in it or not but i have been reading books on first aid, hunting, skinning, basket weaving, farming, medicine from herbs, and all that stuff.............................. I just feel its better to be prepared and it never happen then to not be prepared and it happen.

oh and a helpful tip if it does happen dont go to the malls or anything like that. The libraries will be the safest places to go. Studies showed that when katrina hit the only places that showed no looting was the libraries.
