Think about the Mayan civilization. When Cortez was attacking, he destroyed their temple. They thought this was the apocalypse. So they all got on their hands and knees and prayed to their gods. . . I think the world is still here. Just saying.

People love to predict the end of days. It's a hobby. Think about all of the movies about it. There are LOADS.

Also, there's a tabloid called The Sun they predicted 10 years ago that, "These next weeks of March will be the last!" I was in the store the other day and I saw the SAME HEADLINE from 10 years ago. . .

 

I think it's really amusing.

 

There seem to be three or four 2012 dates floating around..... and I plan to get smashed on every single one of them. I don't believe a word of it, but if the end of the world isn't a good excuse to get drunk then what is?

The wold will end. There will be earthquakes so massive that every living creature on planet earth will die. Except cockroaches. And the cockroaches will become the dominant species on earth. They will build towns and cities around the world as they become more and more intelligent. Other species will eventually emerge, but the cockroaches will be the most intelligent of all. They will begin walking on two legs just like humans.

Nothing. So why worry about it. If the world ends the world ends, nothing I can do about it.

 

If it happens, I can truely prove that college freshmen don't always make it.

 

Unless 2012 is the year we decide that "one year" means "from today until the sun expands enough to burn Earth into a crispety snack"!
