iPad 2

I wish I was made of money so I can buy one. It's so expensive lol
it's like a price of a cheap laptop.

 

I didn't even know they announced this already. I've got an iPad already, and if the only thing to improve is the processor speed and thinness (a camera isn't an improvement, it's an addition that I have no need for) I'll wait to see if the next iteration is any better.

 

I want itttt. It's pretty.
I think I might eventually give in and buy one, but for now I'm content with my iPod.

 

WHAT?!?! It's over £500! That's more than twice as expensive than ANY LAPTOP I'VE EVER OWNED

But seriously, I find no point in having an iPad (2). It's uselessness factor for me, along with the fact that it costs as much as the laptop I'm typing this message on (which is about 10,000x more useful)... No way.

 

Umm sorry, but the iPad does have a GPS. It's in the 3G version (which I think is fair because GPS isnt really that much of a useful feature IMHO, and I own one.

I LOVE my 1st gen iPad to bits. I use it so often (I have a macbook as my main computer FYI), especially at classes or when I am out and about and want to have a 'computer' (internet not on a phone) but without the heft and inconvenience of a 'full blown' laptop.

When people say it is 'just a giant iPod touch', I think they have it exactly right. Because it is. But that's the reason that makes it awesome. Because the screen is so much bigger you can do so much more with it. I suppose it's not really for everyone and I think you have to use it in person to really appreciate how useful it could be.

 

So yeah....im gonna cry on march 11. My moms boss is such a bitch. Hes gonna give my mom an ipad so shes not gonna buy the ipad2 anymore...which she was supposed to give to me while I gave my mom my ipad.

I wanted to videochat with the Ipad2...it'd be so sick!

And...im typing this from an ipad.

 

Okay, so perhaps I stand corrected on the GPS thing. Despite that, I have used it in person. And I smiled at it's cuteness. And then I went and listened to music on my trusty iTouch. Bigger screen. Nicer display. For $500? Not gonna happen.

I can see why people like it so much - it's a pretty cool thing to have. I just don't really think it's all that impressive or necessary.

 

I'm getting my dad's old when when he upgrades! Sweet deal, only like nine months old!

 

I will not be buying one because I already work two jobs to support myself, my car, my addiction to eating at least once a day, my rent, my 16 y/o child, and boyfriend with bad spending habits who hasn't let me take full control over his finances...

A lot? It works with people who have iphones and ipod touches as well.

My ipad2 smartcover came! Now I just need to wait for the actual thing. :lol:

 

Not worth it at all. They still look hopelessly dorky anyway.

 

My parents offered to buy this for me for my birthday... not sure I actually want it.

 

They are being released in Australia today, sales start at 5pm. I had to go to the Apple store today to replace my charger for my macbook - walking up to the store was HILARIOUS....so many people just sitting in queues waiting for the ipad.

So many apple slaves..... -_-;

 

Way to much money to spend on something i have no use for.

 

i personally love the ipad and cant wait for the second one i cant wait for the imat either
