No, go for the throat. Although I've never had to. I don't think I'm much of a fighter, but I AM over six feet tall and rather large, so I at least look like I could be. If I get defiant, the homophobe usually sees two options - back down in front of the fag, or possibly get their ass kicked by the fag. And although the first option isn't something they relish, the second one is one they REALLY don't want to face. So they've always ended up walking away, usually still hurling insults. But actions DO speak louder than words in cases like this.

Don't like this one. What's wrong with children? I mean, obviously a lot of those we're talking about in this conversation probably shouldn't have children, but let's not turn this into an us vs. them thing. I've been lucky not to get this as a direct insult, but "You're a dick" seems a better response.

I have not lost faith in the ingenuity of the human species to innovate and find ways to use agricultural land more efficiently, to find methods of energy production that cause less problems for all.

Besides, I think it comes off as envy. I'd love to have children someday, for it to be scientifically possible a child to have two biological fathers. It's not, but I'm not going to look for reasons in the wider interest to act superior about that. I mean, I read an article last year about an environmentalist couple who decided not to have children, she removed her uterus, because of the damage humans do to the environment. It's a sort of anti-human argument, with a morality the inverse of that of the Roman Catholic Church, that the only good sexual act is one that cannot lead to procreation.

Sorry, I know this is off-topic, and I'll stop now, but since breeder was mentioned, I felt like this rant against it.

 

One of my best friends and one of the few who I'm out to (he's straight) and I often have completely friendly exchanges with each other, so here's a few -
