Finished X-Men....it was aight....sitting here in the theater waiting for the credits to finish rolling.
Ren. Faire = Awesome. Got lots of stuff for my Steampunk Pirate costume and I must say, my girlfriend looked very good in her gypsy outfit. =P

I have 3 more days of working in my department then a silly 4 hour training Thursday that my manager signed me up for without asking me. Now see, I should be happy that I'm getting 4 hours of overtime at time and a half, but since that Thursday training bumped me out of working Friday (silly labor laws and the fact that management finally caught on to that I would work too many days in a row), so I can't get the other 4 hours of overtime I was expecting to get.

I can't sleep because she said that I've changed the way she sees the world. I tried to explain how knowing her is a rare and priceless treasure to me, but it's obvious that she doesn't understand how beautiful she is. I can't stop smiling and every day has been a haze of joy and laughter, whether she's with me or just in my thoughts. I feel like everything is going to be alright. Even if it's hard. Even if I don't know where I'm going. I know I'll be okay. Is this love?

HA! when I first saw this, it didn't say "anyone's throats" it said "my children's throats" and i was like *LEGASP* but also :lol:
I wish I liked X-Men a lot. I just couldn't. Everyone was all "Best super hero movie!" and "It was FANTASTIC!!!", then I saw it and was like "Um.....ok." *sigh*
It was just ok. But there were soooo many inaccuracies from the comics which left me disappointed. Just like how for X Men III I couldn't get past the fact that Jean becoming the Phoenix was so irreparably butchered. I don't like when they screw up my favorite character. The way these movies are handled is just sad. Cause they do have a lot of potential. The action parts are good but I think they insert so many needlessly corny moments it gets ruined. I understand it's hard to do such an epic series justice, but come on. Put a little bit of effort in.

So proud of myself right now. Rocking with a fierce head cold and I still pushed myself harder, better, faster, stronger on my run. Completely wiped out but I feel so good. ^_^
