My ex, who is still a very good friend of mine, totally asked me to be a groomslady at his wedding; he has offered to foot the bill for a tuxedo style corset - since I practice corsetry anyway - as long as I provide my own dress slacks and shoes.

I am so all over that. That'd be the most fun thing ever.

My teacher told me to write about something that would interest students my age.

    I wrote about libraries.

I don't know anymore... do you love me or not? Do you have feelings for me at all, or not?

I'm not sure how I feel about my performance exam yesterday. The piece went reasonably ok, but the scales went worse than I would have liked, and I as of yesterday remain unconvinced that I got the prerequisite mark for the next level.

I remember coming back to my room last night after a 3 hour orchestra rehearsal followed by a trip to the pub. My friend and I watched a couple of House episodes, but all the way through them, my mind couldn't seem to veer away from my performance exam and orchestral music. It's like my brain was so deeply ingrained with all the classical stuff that it was playing a violin soundtrack to the House episodes as I watched them. It was very very annoying and kind of depressing.

That night after my friend went home, I was lying in bed and it finally hit me why people listen to pop music despite some people (not me) saying that it all sounds the same. Pop music is easy. You don't have to analyze it, just sit there and let it wash over you. It was such a nice change to hear some Girls Aloud instead of all the heavy orchestra stuff that was stuck in my head.

Classical music is pretty much the only thing I listen to. I can't relate to pop music.

Anyhoo, I CAN'T WAIT TILL TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*squeals and rolls around on bed like a love-sick air-head (I said it first, Ke$ha) <---goes on to reference a pop song anyway*

Get to spend some more quality time with my "boo".......if only those extra friends weren't tagging along.

Are you also a classical musician?

What I find is that because I dedicate so much of my life to music (I'm doing a degree in it) it's ingrained into my heart, mind, body and soul so much that I can't not analyze a piece of music when I hear it. This is especially particular to classical music. Which is fine most of the time, but sometimes I really just want to forget about all the deep stuff and enjoy it.

Last night I really wasn't feeling that great because of my performance exam and didn't really want to be thinking about violins, so Girls Aloud, for me, was the perfect solution: Simple, feel-good, not at all classical-related, and no violins.

I completely understand. Especially when I was in the honors youth symphony, sometimes, I just couldn't bear to hear anything that so much even resembled Classical music! Sometimes I do feel as if I over analyze, but I guess I've kind of subconsciously learned to actually enjoy it. I listen to it for (literally) hours a day. Haha.

    In other news....
HE SAID HE WANTS TO HANG OUT WITH ME!!!! (!)(!)(!)
