I watched Prayers for Bobby today.

It's a really sad story, but also it's one of those things that you just kind of have to see. I loved the change that occurred in Mary toward the end. I can't even imagine how hard all of that was for everyone involved.

Anyway, I cried my eyes out through the ENTIRE movie and then proceeded to remind myself to be thankful for the amazing family I have, for my beautiful, fantastic friends and the wonderful life I've been given. It could be so much worse, no matter how bad I feel like life is sometimes. Sure, I've been burned, but I'm still standing up.

 

why do I never trust him?! I'm sure he's being honest. Right? RIGHT?

 

This kid furthers my conviction that children should not be allowed to use the internet. Ignorance is a disease. =\

 

Hour 1 of Hollywood miracle diet...it tastes like pineapple juice mixed with sewage....eww.

 

Teacher: Conservatives are very cautious of change, you don't need to fix what's broken such as family values. Liberals want change, they believe that gay marriage is right.
Me: So gay marriage is anti-family? I would like to know your logic behind this, because there is no evidence supporting what you just said. Multiple different groups across the country such as the American Psychological Society actually said and backed this up with studies that gay marriage has no affect on families, unless it's a family with gay parents in which case it improves. Logic itself says gay marriage is pro-family because it is creating a family, legally speaking.
Teacher: That's all wrong.
Me: Can you prove that with logic and facts?
Teacher: It's wrong, anyone can see that.
Me: Who said it was wrong?
Teacher: The Bible.
Me: Okay, so you said earliar that you're for seperation of church and state, yes?
Teacher: Yes.
Me: Yet, you're okay with having a law come from the Bible, which is in direct violation of those laws?
Teacher: No it's not.
Me: Here, I will read the first amendment for you. "No law should be passed in favor of a religious institution." So, by your logic, you're for gay marriage because banning it is a violation of freedom of religion.
Teacher: Most religions are against homosexuality.
Me: No they're not. Mainly just Abrahamic religions (Christianity, Islam, Judaism) to name the most widely practiced. That's not everyone.
Teacher: Can you prove that?
Me: Buddhism says hello, you hypocrit.
Teacher: Go to the office.
Me: Oh I am sure they'd like to hear about you speaking out against homosexuality to your gay students.
Teacher: Office, now.

Then I woke up from my dream.

 

Just... Feeling like crap.

 

I should be doing homework ~~~~

 

Beginning hour 4....my house has the smell of fish tacos. This is torture.

 

I really need to watch this movie. Usually gay-themed movies make me cry, so can't wait to see what this one does to me xD

 

It was fantastic, don't get me wrong, but yeah...I bawled literally through the entirety of the movie :lol:

 

I feel so safe in high school :dry:.

I saw Priscilla Queen of the Desert on Saturday. Awesome. Watching a guy in nothing but high heels and a leather girdle lead around 6 guys, who are wearing nothing but undies, on leashes whiling singing 'Material Girl' is a sight to see.

 

Me--> You know who Linkin Park is?!
Him-> Yeah I have all their albums and even the first one. I started listening after they came out with '21 guns'.
Me-->"......."

Hour 9....I may just go to Carls Jr. since this is just too much. :|
