    there's this literary magazine in my school that I submitted a poem to. It got in, but the stupid editors put it under another girl's name. Luckily she's not taking credit for her piece, but... it still looks like she wrote it. Plus, her piece didn't even get in because of this (and she's a talented enough writer that I know any poem of hers would be accepted into litmag)
    lose-lose situation here.

    *sigh* what idiots. :bang:

    I have put minimal effort into my classes this semester, and yet I scored a combined 407 out of 420 possible points on the first round of exams. That's 97%. And I haven't even been trying. That is how easy my classes are right now. Ugh...


    I survived my speech this morning as well. It wasn't great, but it wasn't a total disaster either.

    Hangover + politics is not going to work..... my brain is not focusing on what I'm supposed to be reading..... but the meeting's today. Why do people schedule student group things on saturdays?

    I spent almost an hour getting ready for school this morning when I usually spend ten minutes getting ready...all so that SHE could see me actually put together for once...and on my way to school I realized she doesn't have class on Fridays...

    I'm regretting not getting that extra sleep now... :lol:
