The film? I didn't think it was boring at all =/ Did you expect dance numbers and explosions? It's a film about a girl's tragic life.

I can't watch movies like that. I just think it's depressing to watch them. Like I wanna leave a movie theater(or my couch) feeling good, not crying. But that's just me.

Well, that specific film is uplifting in a sense. Because regardless of all the shit that girl had to go through, she got through it, and she held her chin up high. There were points when she didn't think she could make it, but she pushed herself. And she had a better life for her and her child because of it.

Everyone dies, that's life. She still made her life worthwhile, she was HIV+ yes, but it doesn't mean she didn't do anything worth being happy about in her life.

I know everyone dies, but isn't that a little disappointing?? I mean, imagine if they made a movie like -insert the movies you like here- where the main character died. Sure, everyone dies, but that would suck. Going through the whole movie, only to find out that the main character dies. Maybe I'm just pessimistic but idk. Honestly, I'm sure if I watched it I would like it, but it's just not my thing.
