Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult. So moving.
Now I'm reading My Sister's Keeper by the same author.

Right now I'm in the middle of reading "The Girl Who Kicked the ######'s Nest" by Stieg Larson. It's the third in the series and they're all very fast-paced reads.

@Impractical...what is it that you enjoy so much about Brave New World? I read it and couldn't really seem to get into it.

I'm currently in love with Jodi Picoult; I'm at the point of compulsively buying her books. Just started Salem Falls today and I'm already hooked

dont worry, she abandoned christanity when she came to realize how screwed up the most vocal christians were, and she would rather have a relationship with god that was not built upon and bolstered by blatent hatred and ignorance.

I usually read about four books at a time. I know that's weird, but I like to mix things up. I just finished reading the Circles series of comic books. They're a bit strange - a gay-themed anthro comic book with a PG-13 rating - the nudity is passing (and not frontal), and the sex scenes are subtle. Scan of the second-to-last page attached. I was excited to see that there was another volume in the works...but then read that the author and artist had abandoned the project, as they couldn't come up with a suitable continuation. So I guess they'll live in limbo in my imagination for awhile.

Also reading a book about a blues fanatic searching for old records in the deep South, a book on digital photography, and a book of weird obscure words.

In my American Liturature class we have to use that entire hour on Thursdays to read. I usually hate reading, but I'm reading this book called "Cast Away Kid". Holy shit. It is so good.

Lex: I do that too. I never finish all of them though, and most of the time I forget what I was reading.

I finished reading an excellent book "Not Before Sundown" by Johanna Sinisalo, a Finnish science fiction novelist. It's about a gay photographer who, one drunk evening, finds a young troll (which are a real species in this book) near his apartment. It's a very clever story, and the author has a very interesting way of writing.

Now I'm trying to read Darwin's "On the Origin of Species" (not liking the Finnish translation though), Stephen Hawking's "The Universe in A Nutshell" and "Eating Animals" by Jonathan Foer.
