^ I've played the first Suikoden and loved it...

But one of my favorite series is Boktai for the GBA. There were 2 of the 3 games released outside of Japan, and the DS sequel Lunar Knights came over too.

Another more recent favorite is 999: 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors. Seriously. Best. Plot. Of. Any. Game. Ever. And this is coming from a Final Fantasy freak. It totally breaks the stereotypes you give the characters, has awesome puzzles, 6 endings that all tie into the true ending, and a mind-f***ing finale. I still think about it after beating it a month ago.

I used to play Binding of Isaac when nobody knew about it but now tonnes of people play it so that doesn't count :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Anybody played a nice little game called Eversion? Google it, it's awesome. Bit creepy as well.

I can't decide if it makes me a huge dork or not that I've played through the vast majority of the games in this thread.

Also, I can't believe someone else has played Low G Man.

The Amazing Island. Loved that game! Drew out monsters that came to life! Ah, childhood.

Oh, and NieR! This one's more recent, but I don't think many people play it and it's kinda underrated. And it's soundtrack is simply eargasmic

    LOVED that game!

There was a Magic: the Gathering PC game called Shandalar that was pretty good fun.

Going further back in time: Archon and Wizball. Most have heard of and probably played the revivial version of Archon, but I've yet to find anyone who ever played Wizball

Outrun and Spy Hunter were another two greats!

We had that! Hahaha - it wasn't amazing except it was a bit of silly fun. We used to have derbys and then go into Mortal Kombat as a play-off.

I just remembered another awesome game is Abe's Odyssee and there was a horror-genre game named "Fatal Frame" (it had another name for Europe/America I think) where you had this camera as a weapon against ghosts and scary stuff. Japanese designed story that was scary-as when you played it through in the dark.

Oops I misread the question. I've played a lot of video games but the less popular I suppose would be

    Super meat boy
    Chrono Trigger

What? Everyone I know played that game back in the old days, mate. Though I never played it myself!
With that said... most people I know who had the NES never played Tiny Toons Adventure. Quite a fun game but the last levels are frustrating :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:.

Really!? I have friends who never played and didn't even know what it was, which is a shame since it's a great game! One of my favourites!

The SystemShock franchise. Biooshock is the spiritual successor to it. It's also part of the inspiration behind GLaDOS.

I have System Shock 2 but I've yet to play past the tutorial. I'm not too good with it tbh :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
