Hopefully they will just be interesting responses rather than coming outs, I really just want to do one with my parents and then FB and be done with it.

 

Ok first let me set the scene. I' sitting in a bathroom with 2 of my best friends. They are both girls and are sisters. I' sitting on a CLOSED toilet. lol dont want this to get strange... I was not using this tiolet, simply sitting there. anyways one of them (we'll call her #1) was in the shower and (we'll call her #2) was straightening her hair. I was completely freaking out cause I just felt like it was coming. so heres how it went

Me: ok if i dont say this im gonna freak out!! I'm Gay!!
#1: (jumps out of the shower soaking wet) I KNOW!!!!! I've always known (cry's)
#2: (runs over hugging me) I kinda thought so too!!! It's ok we love you!
me: (crying uncontrollably) WOW was it really that obvious?
#1 and #2: YES!!
me: (still crying) omg well i love you guys to

lmao good friends

 

I told my friend and she said to me "When did you decide to go gay?"

 

Might as well share these while they are fresh.

My first coming out was at bob Evans with my two best friends both girls. One was having a rough time about her boyfriend acting like a jerk and I kept getting texts from yet another girl throwing herself at me. So by this time I had had it and I asked for a pen from one of them. Eventually the other friend asked me what was wrong. I couldn't say it but I wrote down 'I'm gay' on a napkin. The one who wasn't having boyfriend trouble got really excited, shouted 'really', and texted me who I liked, I texted her back who it was and she replied through text 'he's hot!'.

Next,

I was talking to my parents and then the subject got on these three girls that I always hang out with.

Mom: are you sure you don't have a crush on one?(or something similar)
Me: yeah, I'm sure cause I'm gay.
Mom:bullsh!t

She was very surprised but very accepting as well as my Dad.

Finally, i had to tell my brothers.Christmas eve breakfast at my house my mom gave me a look and said 'now is a good time.' So I am very nervous but I decide to blind side them and just announce:
'so, in order to get this out of the way. Im gay.'

Both of my brothers sat in silence for a little bit and one said

'so that explains your taste in music'

It was hilarious and so true.

All of my coming outs were funny except one, but it didn't end bad so I'm pretty happy. Hopefully I can keep up the streak as their are only a couple others I'd like to tell this school year before I let them spread it around school. Hey, I feel like I don't have to do all the work.

 

E: What's your ideal girl then Matt?
Me: Well...
[I can't remember exactly what I said, but I basically described the type of guys I liked at the time]
E: You have an interesting taste in women.
Me: Who said I was talking about women?
E: What? *thinks for a few seconds* Ohh... I get it, you're gay.
Me: You're ok with that right?
E: Well I've always wanted someone to talk about boys with...

*Day after a pride parade where I was briefly seen in the background during a news story on it, talking to a friend I like*
J: Was that you at the pride parade yesterday?
Me: (Hesitant)... yeah.
J: You're gay then?
Me: Yeah.
*Silence*
J: Is that why you asked me to be shirtless for that scene in that old project?
Me: :icon_redf

This next one's not really coming out, but it marks the first time I spoke to a friend about it.

D: Hopefully you find the right guy.
Me: Wait what did you say?
D: I said it'd be nice if you found the right guy.
Me: Did you say guy?
D: Well yeah, you like guys don't you?
*Silence*
Me: How did you know?
D: It wasn't hard you know. Your choice of clothing, your music tastes, the way you talk and act near O, especially after he came out as well as the fact that your reactions to girls seem to be forced.
*More silence*
Me: So you got the hints?
D: I knew those messages meant something, so I spent a little time to decipher them.
Me: I gotta give you credit for that.
D: Now that that's out of the way, there's one thing I have to ask. Be honest.
Me: Uhh, ok?
D: Does this look suit me?

These make me laugh. A friend asked me a random question about my sexuality.

Friend: So...on a scale of 1 to 10, how gay are you?
Me: I'm about a 10.
Friend: Wow, for real? That's really fucking gay. You're super gay.
Me: *laughs* Did you know I was gay?
Friend: No, I thought you had no sexuality. You look really innocent.
Me: *awkward silence* Huh?

Gay Friend 1: (implies I'm into men)
Gay Friend 2: Wait.....She isn't straight.
Gay Friend 1: Oh! I thought she was the token straight girl!
Me: *gives look of confusion*
Gay Friend 1: You like to munch carpet!

Lmao I have no idea. I didn't know what that was either. Apparently there's always a token straight girl in groups of gay guys. I was the only girl there so he assumed I was the token straight girl. Maybe he thinks straight girls love hanging out with gay guys.

 

Funniest? I was sitting next to them on their bed and they just said ... ''Well ... I still love you more then dolphins"

 

Did you know dolphins are just gay sharks?

I told my friend since middle school that I am bi and he chuckled then looked down at the ground and said, “So is that why you’re such a good cook, honey?” I said yes for what it’s worth.

 

My aunt said... Duh. I thought something was wrong. You scared me!... I had told her we needed to talk... hahaha

 

One of my friends got mad at me when i came out (i think because i hadn't told her first) but the best response was this.
(we're texting)
Me: I'm gay
friend: No you're not. you're too straight to be gay.
Me: I've had a massive crush on (guy at our school) for the entire year. I've never liked girls
him: You're lying! Who stole your phone?!
Me: At 12:30 at night, while i'm sitting in my bed, having a conversation about your asexuality? after having had an uninterrupted hour-long conversation mentioning in-jokes and school jokes only i'd know?
him: .........ok. i won't judge.

another of my friends said "but you're a guy! you can't like guys!" :bang:

 

Some of these are great, I come back on here after a couple of weeks and am in complete laughter!
