I speak English as my native tongue. I've grown up around Polish (my mom's polish) and so I can speak it almost fluently, although I'm afraid I lost some of it. I've also been studying french since kindergarten and am going to be studying arabic next year. The language I'd most like to learn though is Irish <3.

English is my native tongue, which I have mastered. I speak French fairly well, albeit a bit awkwardly. I'm better at writing in French. I study Latin periodically and I wish tolearn it in University. I will wish to learn the following languages, which are listed in descending order of how much I want to learn them: Greek, Russian, German, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian.

EDIT: Oh, as for other languages, I know HTML, CSS, basic PHP and intermediate mathematics.

:stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: I actually had two friends of mine join that moved here from Pakistan. They both speak Hindi, Urdu, Arabic, and English fluently.

    English is my native language.

I am trying to learn Spanish because of the... situation... we have in the United States.

Now for the options I didn't pick...
I really want to learn French and German, too. Let's see if that actually happens...

I can get by on french, but i'm not fluent.

I can understand some italian due to its similarity to spanish, but i didn't vote for it as i can't speak it :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Well of course I speak English.

Og dansk, fordi jeg var en udveksling student.

    Y puedo hablar espanol.

    Ich spreche deutches wenig.

And I've studied some French and Italian but just enough to read and know how to get to places. Not enough to talk.

I know English and enough French to get by.

    I'm teaching myself Pali.

I eventually want to learn Classical Chinese and Classical Tibetan.

Croatian is my native language and I speak English too. As you can see.

I used to study German, I'm quitting Italian this year and my Latin courses are over. I'm not fluent in any of those, so I didn't check them in the poll.

Studying another language can be really fun if you're into it. I studied French for five years and I'm currently learning Vietnamese. And asides from the obvious English, I speak my native Hmong, a language that is falling out of use apparently.

    I am fluent in English.

Je sais un peu de français. je l'étudie maintenant ; je m'enseigne.

Peudo comprender español. Yo estaba mejor. Mi amiga me habla a veces.

Eu falava português? well I studied it for a while, but I've pretty much lost it all and I don't know where my notes from it are any more. I should really start again.

I speak native English, and I am fluent in Spanish and almost-fluent in French and Italian. I'm studying Russian on my own and German at school.

As you can see, I'm quite the polyglot.

I find it funny that only 93% of the users on an English speaking forum can speak or study English... Though I'm not surprised really xD.

    ----------

I can speak English fluently. I am a native English speaker.
