I sure visit other forums. I'm surely not going to tell anybody what forums or type of forums though. All I will say is that I am a moderator on one of them, so I'm committed.
Besides EC, I regularly browse/troll the HoN (online game) forums. Mostly to get updates or read strategies.
I used to be a member of Helix-BBS (dated a member of that site too). After it "vanished" I went to Sistertrek.net (another near-dead site). Although meant for Trek fans originally, most people that are still active involve themselves in the political aspect of the forum. Aside from that, I'm a facebook person
The only other forum I visit regularly is a forum made up of students and alumni of my university. I used to have accounts on a couple video game sites, but I don't visit those much any more.
To be honest, I'm not really too comfortable with the "online community" environment, but I have been a part of a composition forum (more specifically Mario Paint Composer lol!) but it took me quite a long time to even post something on there. Now I do all sorts of collaborative compositional works with people across the globe, and it's sooo amazing! As for here, I just randomly stumbled upon this and like instantly knew this would be good for me (even though online relationship is a little weird for me, and I mean that in the broad sense, not like dating). But yeah, I definitely love all the support here, so I opened up here rather quickly I think.
I used to go to MT and MS a lot. People who don't know the acronyms probably don't know what those are and I'd rather keep it like that. I also go to some other ones that I'm not too proud about but this is the only one I frequent daily.
I'm an active member of the Khaos Komix forum (it's a webcomic; I'm sure lots of people here read it xD). And I occasionally visit the deviantART forums. I think that's pretty much it.
The only forums I go to are this one and GameFAQS. I used to be on IMDb, where I would post a couple hundred times a week, but I got sick of all the pretentious jackasses who treated me like dirt because of my age and taste. Whatever, this place is way better.
*gets in before this thread dies* I go to another teen forum which was very good when finding out puberty related knowledge and this teacher forum where I fought on a thread for 3 years with other people that teens should be allowed to date hahaha...... yeah i'm cool
I waste spend a lot of time on the Ultimate Guitar forum, almost exclusively in the off-topic section, called 'The Pit'. There's a small LGBT community there, we have the single longest open thread on the forum at nearly 44,000 posts
I'm on another gay forum, but I haven't posted there in a while. I was also a fairly active member of "outsports", a forum for gay sports fans. (The fans were gay, not the sports.) And I was on a music forum and a fanfiction-writing one, but not so much on either now. Would it surprise anybody to find out that I often ended up as the "resident advice-giver" on nearly all of them? The only ones I've posted on recently are one devoted to the local music scene, and one dealing with indoor lacrosse. Neither one do I post on anywhere near as much as this one. Lex
crunchyroll asian stuff, some of the topics are stupid but it's fun to talk to little tweens on the internet about stupid topics. sometimes people can be very (not smart) on there.
acen (anime central), tactical underground (zombie related but a serious one), and a variety (7 other) of gun forums where one can compare notes with other gun owners. and two porn forums
That made me giggle so loud. lol Anyways, EC is the only forums I visit. I find it's hard to find a decent forum because the web is full of crap, so I rather just not even look.
I'm a frequent member of Fort Refuge. It's a site for abuse survivors only. It's a good site that offers great support. Much like this forum!
I used to spend a lot of time on Toonzone's World's Finest Writers Corner, which was a fan fiction forum for DC Comics fans. Basically, I wrote and read a lot of Teen Titans fanfiction and the community was AMAZING!
I definitely thought I was the only one on EC that was also a member of that forum! (!):icon_bigg Happy to have met you!
