Since it premiered in 2006, many people have enjoyed watching Ugly Betty, not just for its unique take on “fitting in” the fashion industry, but for the subplot about Betty’s nephew, Justin, who has been gradually coming out over the course of the show. (Many of us have also been intrigued with the life of openly gay co-worker Marc St. James…but that would be a post for another day.) We’re excited to report that PFLAG was contacted by the show to help support an upcoming episode about the Suarez family. While we certainly won’t reveal any spoilers here, consider this your DVR alert. I love Ugly Betty! And Justin's story of self-acceptance was funny to watch. I'm looking forward to this episode!!
i really wish i had got into ugly betty i watched a few episodes and liked it but the scheduling over here is a bit hectic. guess another box set ill need to find. this particular episode though looks to be great
Well, this week is his "Coming out" episode, so this seems very, very good. PFLAG? Are they going to be in the actual episode, or were they helping with making it?

In regards to PFLAG, Justin's family was about to throw him a coming out party. And with them was a "starter bag" full of gay friendly information. A booklet from PFLAG was part of it. Also GLSEN was mentioned and during one of the commercial breaks afterward their "that's so gay" ad with Hilary Duff was shown. I love the Suarez family. So much. "We know you're gay and that's okay." :roflmao: Man, it was so hard not to cry during Justin and Austin's dance scene. It was so sweet. I'm so going to miss this show.

i loved that 1 it was definately worth watching i was even watching it about an hr ago. after watching that show i felt good enough to come out to another person XD
I saw UB for the first time by accident recently and thoroughly enjoyed. I have now got the first season on DVD, do I need to wait 5 seasons to find out about this:eek:

Austin is sooooo cute. Justin's not bad either. I loved the episode. Not bad for my first ever Ugly Betty Episode lol
