I never got into tabletop or anything like that but I do like a good game of Settlers of Catan now and then, I love Carcassonne, and I have a game called Mr. Jack and a game called Gloom. Also, I made my own Ricochet Robots playing board. I guess it's the strategy challenge that I like.

Does anybody else here like any kind of board games?

    That's cool.

Snakes and ladders, chess (though I haven't done it in a while), checkers, Life, scrabble, Trivial Pursuit, Risk, Monopoly (I have regular and Star Wars monopoly ), and Twister.

...ok Twister's not a 'board game' but it's a 'mat' game and has a spinner.

  3. candy land, apples to apples, taboo, (do card games count?)

  4. OMG, I love board games. Especially the forgotten ones like 13 Dead End Drive (throwing that ugly cat down the stairs or into the fireplace was the best thing ever).

OH, OH, I can't forget Don't Wake Daddy, even though that game used to scare the hell out of me.

I always wanted to play 13 Dead End Drive because of those TV commercials. Never did.

And I remember the jingle from the Don't Wake Daddy commercial. Truly creepy, yes.

Apples to Apples is the funniest drunk game ever.

Also love Arkham Horror and all the various zombie board games that a good friend of mine keeps getting. Last Night On Earth is fantastic

Ah yes, thanks Chandra for reminding me. Mom loves it when I visit home because she generally gets to play Pictionary and Scrabble with me. Haha.

Oh... I forgot Headbands. I have a friend who loves this game.

I love playing RISK with family friends.

Scrabble as well, but only with 2 of them, the others aren't good. XD

We also play Redneck Life... it's the Game of LIFE, just like.. Redneck edition... XD Instead of money, you gather Debt, and at the end of the game, you have to pay it off, and you lose teeth, etc. XD

I usually play Cluedo, The Game Of Life or Scrabble. I often attempt to play Risk and Monopoly but they go on for hours, I can't remember if my family has ever fully finished Monopoly without giving up.

There was a year just when I started university that my friends and I would stay up til the early morning playing risk. It would usually end with someone swearing and going to bed, and a day or two later we would start the whole thing again.
