What Are You Thinking?

You're right that is what I said. It was so long ago I almost forgot.
I guess all we have now are those memories, the memories of rolling pretzels and foggy evenings. Sometimes I look to the moon hoping it looks like it did that night, so golden, so oven baked. It never looks like that.
I'll mail you those letters one day. I will. I promise.

 

I suppose the city life has gotten to you, hasn't it?
Does it treat you well, with its automobiles and city plume?
I wish one day you would come back here dear.
You know I never believed in wishing on stars.
They don't nearly resemble pretzels as much as the moon does. So thats why I keep wishing on that giant pretzel in the sky rather than stars. Because it looks like pretzel and also because there are no airplanes in the night sky to wish on at the moment.
Broken promises are much like broken pretzels, dear.
Once they're broken they're impossible to put back together again.

 

I'll wait for one of those giant flying automobiles you call planes, I'll wait so I can make that wish to see you again. Even if it takes me twenty years I'll wait.
It is impossible to put a broken pretzel back together, but lets make new pretzel dough. We can do it again. Just keep wishing on that giant golden pretzel in the sky, it'll all work out one day honey. Believe in it, believe in us.

 

You know, I never did like pretzels much.

 

I'm more of a doughnut fan myself. Oh well.

 

My bad thoughts are getting to me. Ugh. I don't need or want this right now.

Today the refrigerator at work broke down and we had to throw out all non-essential samples. I'm kind of shocked to discover I had over 150 kilos of samples I held on to merely because we hadn't run out of storge space yet

What a away to start college! Arrive an hour late coz you get your dad phoning and waking you asking why you weren't at college. All due to you being told the wrong date from the college. FUN!

 

Really? I have to write an optional reaserch paper for the option of getting better than a B+ in history? Even if I ace every single test and essay? This is so not cool....

 

For some reason I'm really down about myself today. I keep telling myself that I suck at making art and that I'll never be able to really excel in it. I want this to be my profession but I'm just not good enough. Maybe I should throw all my drawings away and give up.
