Today was a good day.

 

Did i really just completely rearrange two rooms in 2 1/2 hrs? holy shit XD

I had to rearrange our computer room to make room for the furniture that was in my room, just so i could move my bed and desk xD

 

So there is Star Wars convention next to my hotel and the Yo-Yo competion inside my hotel. I saw the Yo-Yo kids laughing at the star wars guys....Did they miss the part WHERE THEY PLAY WITH YO-YOS?!

 

So many train rides lately, I feel like my bed is moving on some tracks. X_X

So I have a doctor's appointment on monday, and I loathe doctors. I'm not exactly sure what the appointment will entail because it's my first with this doctor. Some medical problems I've been having lately might prompt him to have my blood tested. I'm going to the office alone. I hope I remember to talk about the knee pain I've been getting. He better not have to ask me to turn my head and cough.

ARRRRGGHHH! I had put up with her bullshit and idiocy all day to make her content before I move away, but then she goes and has to say that.

After managing to weasel her way into our house, my grandmother comes in to the living room to watch a part of the local nightly news about the flooding. After the flood story they show a segment on Bob Vander Plaats and his crusade to oust the Iowa SC justices who struck down the marriage ban. And of course, following the segment she says "Can you believe what they allow in this world these days? People have no morals anymore.", referencing same-sex marriage being legal.

There was a collective "Oh my god did she actually say that in our house?!?" look between me, my parents, and my sister, but none of us said anything. You can't argue or discuss anything like this with her. She's just that type of person. Racist, homophobic, xenophobic. And nothing can change her opinions.

Once she (finally) left, my parents were furious. We're all tired of putting up with her bullshit. They did admit they should have changed the channel the second they saw what was coming, but we shouldn't have to do that.

I wonder what will happen when I finally come out to her...
