(*hug*) I'm sure that she was the happiest she could have been! And she lived surrounded by friends. It might seem like little consolation now, but after the grief the good memories will stay, and the bad will disappear. (*hug*)

    Aww, I'm so sorry.

She seems like she lived a long and very happy life. She was obviously very loved, and you gave her the best life any dog could want.

I'm so sorry for your loss. (*hug*) (*hug*) (*hug*)

    Maddy,

I got this note today from my ex wife. Perhaps you've already read this, but when I saw it I immediately thought of you. It's very sweet...

I know how you feel maddy, when my dog died I sat and looked at his food dish and bone for hours.

It will get better with time, but you feel like crying then do it, it will make you feel better.

But try to remember the good time with your dog.

You'll find that over time you'll remeber the great life and not the death, but giving it time is the hard part, but hearts do heal if given time.

I just wanted to say that, even though we don't know each other, I'm sorry for your loss. Reading your story makes me think of my old four-legged friend, the fun and joy I experienced with her and the sadness I felt when it was time to let her go.
I hope you have people around you who are supportive and accepts your feelings.
