i tell people all the time that i'm like the worst gay ever.

    surfing is my life
    i dont watch musicals
i dont listen to gaga, spears, or whatever else there is
    i dress straight
    i walk straight
    my wrists arent limp
    i talk straight
    i make straight guy jokes
"that's so gay" "no homo" and "queerbag" do not offend me in the least
i avoid "drama" like the plague
i dont know fashion besides what colors dont hurt my eyes
    i have no gay friends
    i don't accessorize
i dont wear unique shoes (all the gay guys i do know have different shoes every time i see them)
i have my natural hair color
i go to a catholic school
i don't watch fashion shows, or any of those gay tv shows (i cant even remember what they're called right now)
and i dont know anything about skin/hair products

    however,
i am completely obsessed with boys
    i'm a singer
i watch glee (though that may be because i'm a singer as well)
    boys are so hot
i know how to look good
my hair is really important to me
i keep my eyebrows in line (i dont shape, i just make sure they aren't ridiculous)
omg if i see a hot guy, i just stare
i have a few more girl friends than guy friends
i'm a complete sap for happy endings
    i'm a hopeless romantic
and a nice 6 pack makes me weak in the knees.

If i tried to make a list of things i do that seem quote "Gay", i would be here all day. Ill just give some highlights...

    - I have a musical collection that soon might need its own house
    - I follow over 4 soap operas religiously, most not even in English
    - I love the color pink and all things glittery in a slightly obsessive way
    - I cry at the drop of a hat when watching just about anything
    - I have the hand gestures and wrist movements down to an art, without even realizing
    - I have an iTunes that would put most gays to shame (Madonna alone takes awhile to scroll by)
    - I bitch about my weight and pretend to go on a new diet every other week
    - I secretly think im a black woman; my Mariah hands are getting pretty good
    - I need showtunes on if i am cooking, and i tend to cook alot
    - I use my two Rent DVD's and soundtrack as my anti-depressants, and they work
    - I bitch and bitch and bitch if i have to do anything slightly dirty or athletic

...yea, i guess thats a good start :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: paints a picture of who Greg is. Most of that is not "Gay" though, its just...me. I know i am Genderqueer, and i tend to lean very much towards femininity.

I'm kind of somewhere in between. I wouldn't call myself masculine as a rule (despite my mother telling me all the time that I look like a boy), but I'm not especially feminine either. I'm not interested in fashion or celebrities or that kind of thing, but I'm also not into sports or power tools or anyhting like that. And it worries me a bit sometimes, because I feel like I'm not feminine enough for those who like that type, and not masculine enough for those who like that type. I wish I had a clearer idea of who I am.

Yeah, I'm pretty stereotypical. I don't try to be gay, but my mannerisms are just more feminine (limp wrist, the way I walk), and my voice is naturally 'gay'. I only pluck my eyebrows a tiny bit (they're still pretty big and annoying) to avoid a serious monobrow situation, which would be really not a good thing. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
But I don't feel pressured to try and be more masculine in order to fit in with cultural expectations or to be more feminine to fit in with the gays. I act like myself, and whoever doesn't like is silly.

Sounds a bit like me. Even... the mom part.

Don't worry, you'll find your lady and if personalities click it won't matter what you are on the gender identity spectrum.

    My stereotypical lesbian characteristics:
    - I'm obsessed with cats.
    - I like to wear boy clothes.
    - I have really short hair.
    - I don't pluck or wax my eyebrows.
    - I don't shave my legs unless it's summer (who cares if nobody sees them?).
    - I'm addicted to video games.
    - I love working with computers (HTML FTW).
    - I'm an artist.
    - I'm extremely liberal and have many hippie-like views.
    - I'm a vegetarian.
    - I wear crazy amounts of rainbows.
    - I very rarely wear skirts and dresses, and I absolutely hate showing cleavage
    - I love food (particularly junk food) and don't care if people see me stuffing my face (which happens, admittedly, most of the time :lol:slight_smile:.
    - I like women. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    My non-stereotypical characteristics:
    - I love everything and anything cute.
    - I have a very cheerful personality which typically involves a lot of high-pitched squealing.
    - I love flowers.
    - I wear makeup (although that's mostly due to the fact that I look like I'm about 12 years old if I don't :eusa_doh:slight_smile:.
    - I love hugs.
    - I have a bad habit of doodling little smiley faces, peace signs, and hearts all over every single one of my school papers.
    - Sports bore me to sleep.

Haha, it looks like I'm more flamboyant than I thought.

I don't think so. The only stereotypical traits I can think of are my lack of interest in sports (though I know lots of straight guys who don't care for sports either) and the fact I can get along with women better than other guys.

But other than that, nope. In fact, I think I'm more of a stereotypical nerd .

If Bisexual counts for this one, I would show that stereotype sometimes when around girls I wouldn't really care for going after and the music I listen to would probably get people thinking that I am but overall, probably not.

Not really, though I do have some traits like not liking sports, loving disco and some dance music, and I also tend to have more female friends than male ones.

lol no, if anything i'd be seen as far from it. reasons:

-i'm probably the only person on this site who owns numerous firearms, go's hunting/shooting; and gatherings defending the 2nd amendment
    -play violent video games
    -very confrontational
    -arguementive (speech and debate)
-kind of an asshole (i got no problem making a scene in public and start'n trouble/fight)
-i drive relatively fast and blast loud angry music
-i listen to LOTS of metal (pantera, hatebreed, throwdown, lamb of god, etc)
and some other things that i'm not going to get into on this site
oh and i'm a register'd republican, and i vote republican like 90% of the time

Well, I thought prior to coming out that maybe people expected me to be gay but I suppose that was just paranoia. According to all my friends I have no gay tendencies, but I suppose when you try and put on a facade of being straight you observe other peoples actions and mimic them or dismiss the actions that seems stereotypical of a gay person. My only "gay tendency" is probably just having a lot of friend girls, other then that I'm pretty "straight" in behavior / demeanor / most interests (excluding liking guys of course).

    Hmmm, let's see:

    - I adore Madonna.
    - I'm a huge music lover, I'm always singing or humming something.
    - I'm into comedy, big fan of stand up comics, I like to laugh, so suck it Jesus, Kathy Griffin is my god now! LOL!
    - I like a few musicals, but I'm not obsessed with them.
    - As for TV I like Will & Grace, Seinfeld, mostly sitcoms with a few CSI styled shows mixed in.
    - Hate sports, but I do workout.
    - I like to dance but I'm not good at it.
    - I cook and I'm very good.
    - I think I dress subtle, I don't do colorful flamboyant clothes.
    - I don't take long to when I'm getting ready to go out.
    - I drool over hot guys when I see them on the street or anywhere (duh!)
    - I'm not a fan of animals or kids.

Hope that's enough, tell me what you guys think?

Well... I'll do this coz it seems fun

I dress very plain, but sometimes really tight.
I play a lot of videogames, nothing sportsly tough.
There are some days in which I don't get bath, but I walways worry to much about my look.
I don't fix my hair before I go out, but I got it cut so it'd stay in shape all the time.

All the other things I can think about are kind of stereotypical =P
