    I know! I read those stats on the site and was like... :bang: dammnit, where is my 20-160 chicks? I have to get my stats up for this year! And then I have to start ALL over again in 2010.

    Jeez... life sucks.

    But seriously, the ignorant bigot quoted newsweek. Isn't newsweek a tabloid or something? Am I misinformed in this or?

    I am the proud owner of a fine documentary called "Homosexuality, Gay porn, pedophilia, and the Justice Department", produced by our friends at Jerry Falwell's operations. The film was made in 1994 or so and consists of ridiculous scare tactics about how the homosexuals are advancing their agenda. Other than the fact there's no references at all to gay porn or pedophilia anywhere in the documentary, it's an, um, interesting piece of work, and I suspect it pulled its sources from the same place that lovely website did.

    I show it to friends now and again just so we can all laugh at it. They have this ominous, morbid music playing while showing those awful homos dancing together, or marching in a parade. They imply pedophilia by showing a happy gay couple with their two toddlers riding on their shoulders at a Pride parade... and the rest is just as accurate.

    The sad thing is, there's a portion of people that believe this crap.

    this makes me cry.

    in the late 90's, I was handcoding websites in text files that looked a heck of alot better than this.

    Also... Lex... I feel so left out on your 1000 partners a years figures... can we do a pledge drive or a telethon or something?

    it's also nice to know that they are using statistics from 1978 to 1994. Nice up to date... from 15 to 30 years ago....

    Many of y'all are too young to remember this, but back in 1996 it made national news when Ellen Degeneres' character (who was named "Ellen" came out on a special episode of her sitcom.

    One of the high points for me was while they were running the credits, they showed Ellen sitting at a table in a restaurant, signing all these forms (to say she was a lesbian), remarking "Wow, I didn't know it was this formal", with Melissa Etheridge stamping and "approving" the forms, and the woman that "recruited" Ellen into being a lesbian being handed a toaster oven by Melissa. It was really funny to anyone gay, and probably just "proof" to all the right-wing loonies.

    Yea, I was too young at the time (my parents always had friends on). But I got to watch it on youtube not long ago... I'll try and find it... Someone posted the Ellen episodes up from season 3 to 5. :slight_smile: They're awesome and hilarious. And for the loonies that believe this, it's a form of humour. I don't think that the extremiests understand sarcasm and satire...

    Not google's fault, also if i were looking for stats on that I wouldn't use the word "Homosexual" I don't like it; I feel like it has lots of negative connotations. I'd say gay or LGBT (or whatever variation on that you use)
