I love regina. I got the album the first week it came out, but I haven't had a chance to really listen to it yet. I do like the new vein she's going into though. :]

I haven't bought it yet. I heard that it's very pop. Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

I've been listening to it for most of today, and I think that while it's certainly great, Begin to Hope was better. There isn't as much of a sense of cohesion within Far, in that the music doesn't revolve around a strong theme like Begin to Hope did. That said, the percussion is a lot more innovative and while the vocal melodies aren't what I would call memorable, the piano riffs are just bliss. The syncopated rhythms are pretty fun as well. 4/5, I say!

    I bought it already, and...

I think my favourite part of the whole album is the two-minute mark of Dance Anthem of the 80's where it suddenly changes, and then swells and swells. Gah.

The dolphin impression in "folding chair" kind of blindsided me though...

I haven't heard it yet. She played at a festival here last saturday but I only had tickets for the day before - but my friends that saw her said she put on a really good show.

  11. I bought it the day it came out, and pretty much every track is amazing.
