I just read the review for The Exorcist - you would think there would be more under the Offenses to God category, but nope. It earned a solid 51, just slightly worse than Harry Potter.

On the lines of band and names and shizzle, I think Practitioners of Homosexuality have a track for the working progress album of "A Giant Talking Female Organ".

    Track 1; "Let's ([homo]sexual intercourse)!"

"I'm no good, at this romance and shit,
And I ain't gonna beat around the bush about it,
But I want you, but I don't just want you by force,
So please say yes to 'let's ([homo]sexual intercourse)!"

You will ALL be happy to hear Mary Poppins scored 100 (you GO Mary!)

    Others that made the cut?

    - Grandpa Friendly's Workshop: Making Friends (LOLOL)
    - Baby Miracle Volume 1: The Story of Creation (Ewmuch? Nasty Breeders.)
    - Who Gets the House (...?)

I was reading it to the tune of "My Junk" from Spring Awakening, but whatever works.

Amityville Horror review, of the remake, under the Offenses to God category:
I thought the Bible was full of that shit...?

EDIT: A Giant Talking Female Private Organ

Do I even need to say anything? Really. This shit just mocks itself.

And in their Questions and Answers section...

I wonder if they know what gentle, loving and compassionate even mean.

I propose another track for the album: Cake-n-Ice Cream Spirituality.

    haha I love this thread..

um though I may be a bit behind, Harry Potter is actually an amazingly close parallel to a lot of the Bible in the same way as C.S. Lewis's Narnia Chronicles.. And at no point is religion or God even mentioned, unlike His Dark Materials xD *smiley out of context*

the reviews make a great laugh, though

My favorites from the Fight Club review:
But the best would have to be:
    A bit wordy there. I'd call it...I dunno...having sex?

I love reading the reivew on Saved

    http://www.capalert.com/capreports/saved.htm

If you dont know, Saved is a smart and sassy look at alot of the horrible parts of the church. I watched this movie AT MY CONSERVATIVE DUTCH CHRISTIAN HIGHSCHOOL because the teachers thought it had many good points. That goes to show you it in fact is not just a GOOD movie, but an important one too.

The last quote on the Offenses to God page. I can't count how many times I've seen that used on these forums. Oh, if only he could make a visit here. I'd love to see his reaction.
