I *think* so! You'd have to double check on the website closer to the time though.

ultimately, my biggest concern is the fact that I am not fully out at the moment. I guess deep down I am afraid someone might see me there that is not going to be as understanding.

I know, irrational fear, because if they arent the type to be understanding, why would they be there? I think one of the reasons I want to go this year is because by taking that step out, I might overcome those fears.

If that's your concern, it might be better to go the Portland one--less likelihood of awkward run-ins.

I wish Vancouver pride would just HAPPEN already! Im so excited eeeeeee! Its going to be off the hook!

Side note: I think we should set up an Ec meet-and-greet for the people going to the Vancouver one, since i know thats 3+ people hehe. We need to talk to a mod about that, right? Id be willing to organize something if people going want to  I really want to make a day out of pride!

Why would we need to talk to a mod? I mean unless we go in EC t-shirts or something and present ourselves as the official EC contingent, I mean.

Well I'm going... I think I might march with PFLAG because marching is way cooler than not marching.

I'm thinking he meant more along the lines of the whole "no personally identifying information" rules and rules meant to protect children from predators. Organizing a meet and greet would be treading a fine line.

Full members should feel free to contact other full members to arrange meeting if they so desire. Remember that this is why we have the new staged membership program in place - to ensure that personal information isn't being solicited by new members who haven't adequately demonstrated their 'intentions' for joining EC.

Personally, I'm a party pooper when it comes to crowds. I'd rather NOT go to downtown Toronto during Pride because I can go any time I want to and avoid the masses.

I am still torn on if I am going to salem's. it hit me that its right in the middle of my finals, so it will be on a play by ear basis, depending on if I can make the time in my studying.

I hope to go, but I also need to do really well in my classes to repair my GPA.

So I wont know until I get there. if I am not bogged down, I am planning to go.
