I feel kind of weird admitting it, but I cant't sleep without my stuffed animal. I've been doing it forever now it seems, and I can't help but feel childish about it. But hey, it helps me sleep well =]. Does anyone else sleep with a stuffed animal or with anything else?
haha i have a stuffed wolf on my bed. i don't always sleep with it, but when i can't always sleep or i feel sad i either hold it or lay my head on it lol
I do when I'm really upset. I used to sleep next to my dog when I felt like crying, but I had to put him down recently. I slept clinging to a little stuffed corgi for a week after that. =( But otherwise? Not really. Sometimes I put them on my bed because they're cute, but I wake up in the morning and I've kicked them off! Haha. Mostly they sit around my room and collect dust.
Yea I have a teddy bear that always sits on my bed, I don't always sleep with it but some nights I can't sleep with out it. I don't think it feels childish I love my bear.
No, but I always liked the idea of having one. A special friend who was alive even if you were the only one who believed. When I was in third and fourth grade, I used to pray that Pokemon were real; I had these Pokemon pencil tops that you put over the eraser, even though they didn't erase. Anyway, one of them was Bulbasaur, my favorite pokemon, and I treated him as though he were real. I didn't lift it from it's bulb, but rather from its sides and I'd place him in my other hand. They were really little, like maybe half a square inch. Maybe I didn't sleep with them, but it felt like magic to believe they were real...
I used to. Once I partnered up, they kind of got in the way, so now they glare down at me from on top of the bookcase. Weird group up there, too - Buster Bunny (from Tiny Toons), Donatello (the ninja turtle), and a smiling gorilla. Lex
Yeah...ever since I was three, I slept with a stuffed rabbit my grandmother made me. She had to make another one when I turned 16 because the original was so ragged. I...still sleep with it. >_>;
I used to sleep with a stuffed Simba (from the Lion King), but last summer, after my dog died, I started sleeping with this stuffed dalmatian that I made at Build-A-Bear when I was like 13. **When I made the stuffed dalmatian, I named it Lucky, my dog's name. Yeah, I was really creative to make a stuffed animal that was the same type of dog as my own, and name it the same name.
Hee, yeah. I have a stuffed cheetah named Buffy and a stuffed white tiger named Faith that I sleep with every night. Oh, and my furball of a cat is always with me, even though he doesn't count as a stuffed animal. <3
I have a stuffed duck named Howie, with whom I sleep. I also have two other stuffed ducks on the bed (Gilbert, from a thrift store, and Jake, a Beanie Baby) and my Jigglypuff from first grade. I also have over a dozen stuffed animals looming over what should be a closet (but works better as desk space). Possibly one of my most favorite stuffed animals that I don't sleep with is Wolf, who likes to sit on my desk. I've had him since I was three. I've just never had the heart to give them away.
I've had many stuffed animals over the years, though most have them have now been donated to my two doggies. One of my dogs likes to bring one or two of them to bed when she sleeps with me. Other than that, there's a stuffed Chocobo that resides there. It has glass eyes, so isn't dog-appropriate. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.
