I finished Siddhartha by Herman Hesse the day before yesterday, for the third time this year. Almost done with The Red Pony by John Steinbeck, too.

Has anyone read Shogun, by James Clavell? I'm considering getting a copy and reading it, but I've heard a lot of mixed reviews about it. Some say it's the best book they've ever read, some say it's the worst book they've ever read, but opinion is essentially split down the middle, and I don't wanna buy a 1,200 page novel that's gonna take up loads of room on my shelf and never reading it.

Recently finished Too Like the Lightning by Ada Palmer. (Great book, and great portrayal of gender.) Now on The Elephant's Journey by Jose Saramago.

Wuthering Heights. It easily became one of my favorites.

The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay, by Michael Chabon. It's not the best book I've read and it's quite slow/lacking in detail in some places but still a great read nonetheless.

The Duchess of Malfi, by John Webster. Not a fan, but then I do have to read it, so it's expected that I won't like it.

And I've finally finished The Grapes of Wrath, by John Steinbeck. Quite traumatised and I still prefer East of Eden, but GoW is still an amazing novel.

I started reading Warrior Cats in Spanish. I really think I need to consume more media in Spanish to get better, so I bought a few books. I also started reading some articles in Spanish as well.

I have so many books I'd like to read, so when school is over, I'll try to read a few.

Well, I didn't exactly read it. Sometimes I just can't focus on reading so I listen to audiobooks.

So, I listened to "No Longer Human" by Osamu Dazai. 4 hours, one night, it was that good.

    A very thought provoking read/listen.

The Prophet, by Kahlil Gibran. Read it in a day or so after impulse-buying it. Loved it.
