Last book I read was Dead Boys Can't Dance; it's a study done in Canada (mostly Quebec and Ontario) about perceptions of homosexuality and transgenderism and suicide. I think I've read it about 3 times now.

Currently working on rereading Three Day Road by Joseph Boyden.

Last longer thing that I've read was a screenplay by Anton Chekhov but when it comes to books it was an autobiography by Malala Yousafzai. Her story is really inspiring and touching but probably I should not review it as a book (I mean the style of writing and those kind of things). I recommend Chekhov's screenplays, I like his sense of sarcasm; my favourite by him is "Three Sisters" which contains one of my favourite quotes of all time:

Currently I'm ending reading Jack Kerouac's compilation of two novels: "The Subterraneans" and "Pic" and at the same time I'm reading a book about camp aesthethic for my thesis.

The gunslinger by Steven King. I've started the drawing of three which is the sequel to it and the second book in the dark tower series. So happy to hear they are finally moving forward on the movies

Well..... last book ive read I cant actually remember as from about 2 years ago, Ive been getting the worst hedaches while reading, and its nothing to do with my eyes apparently. So in all that time, I haven't sucesfully read a full book without needing to stop every 5 mins as I cant read for longer than that without getting major hedaches.

DOESNT MEAN I STOP TRYING as the book I am currently trying to read is Catch a Wave: the Rise, Fall and Redemption of the Beach Boys' Brian Wilson by Peter Ames Carlin. Yes I know I have a major major addiction to him at the moment, but my god his story is just something to really learn about, I mean for such a great musician to be basically deaf in one ear(Via beatings from your father)is absolutely amazing. Its also just so empowering, as the shit that he had to go through even before the chaos that was being corrupted by a psychologist for over 10 years, getting rejected by most of your band for writing different things rather than the "traditional" surf surf, cars and girls crap, and just living in the 60s in that time. It really is a fascinating read, and is just so amazing to see the strength he has.

Ok and maybe im trying to figure out how he got so so so so so so so so good at harmonising and writing melodies, which i still haven't found an answer to other than "Practice on piano" and "Be amazing god damit", Two things that i don't do, so yup.

I'm reading The Music of the Primes. It's a book about the Riemann Hypothesis and the patterns of the prime numbers. Fascinating stuff, despite never being much of a "math person". I have always loved prime numbers, though.

Just finished the first volume of the comic Saga by Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples. I'll definitely have to get the other volumes.

I finished "Eye of the World" (Book 1 of the Wheel of the Time) by Robert Jordan about a month ago, and am currently halfway through "The Great Hunt" (Book 2). I mean, they're great books, don't get me wrong, but they take an age to get through, Fitting, given the series' lore

Just began reading Predator: Incursion by Tim Lebbon. I keep thinking to myself, "When are the Yautja going to show up?! I don't care about these silly humans!" Apparently it's book one of a greater series.

    The Coldest War
(Book Two of the Milkweed Triptych)

    by Ian Tregillis

AHAHAHA, this novel just made me so, sooo happy! What an ending! If you are gonna have a character that can see into the future, this is how you do it.

I started reading this soon after finishing the first book early last year, but for whatever reason my interest dwindled and I left this book unfinished for a little over a year now. I'm more than glad I took the time to come back to it, as well as ecstatic to dive into the last entry of this expertly planned series. Here you have a trilogy that was clearly conceived as such from it's inception, and I don't see any other way it could have worked if not in this fashion. Maaaad props to Mr. Tregillis, and here is hoping he sticks the landing with the third book.
