    American Gods, by Neil Gaiman.

It's Gaiman, so greater than whatever y'all care to compare it to.

I recently started reading 'Ready Player One' by Ernest Cline. I just read a few pages but the book is full of references to the 80s and I like how he describes the world Cline has created.

Finished reading The Best of Canada's New Writers: The Journey Prize Stories, volume 26. The stories submitted by literary journals from across Canada were particularly good in this volume. Can't say that there was a story that I didn't like. In particular, I liked that a gay themed story was included as well.

I've currently got three books going on: Isabel Allende's House of Spirits, Italo Calvino's Invisible Cities, and John Knowles' A Separate Peace.

Totally recommend all of them! And the last one is hella gay, hehe.
