    "Brilliant" - Rachel Vail
Good, realistic book about a teen girl who struggles to find out if she really is as brilliant as everyone else believes she is. A fun read.

"Holes" by Louis Sachar. I didn't like it much: extremely happy endings are not my thing.

I just finished "Love in the time of Cholera" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.

The story itself is not really that interesting, sort of like a mix-mash of Wuthering Heights, Anna Karenina and D.H. Lawrence. But oh my goodness, was the writing beautiful! It's like reading poetry in prose

I'll be starting "Atonement" by Ian McEwan tonight, then take a break before I read "A Hundred Years of Solitude".

Hope you enjoy both of those! I've been interested in reading both, but especially the latter. Have wanted to dive into Marquez for a long time but never got around to it.

Two Graves by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child — #12 in the enigmatic Agent Aloysius Pendergast series. The series had been drifting a bit, but this book closed up a lot of loose ends and set the stage for some (hopefully) engaging future stories. Looking forward to Pendergast getting "back to normal"...
