I just read Little Women and it was fantastic! I love how it covered fifteen years of the characters lives. I felt very satisfied after reading this book. nothing was left in the air but i guess that's why it's a classic. I'm now reading The secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett. It's good so far. I'm going to start reading some classics from now on. Once you get used to the flow of the language they are very enjoyable.

I will describe my summer reading for AP Lit this year (oh joy.)

Lord of the Flies- was creepy. Kids that age annoy me anyway. So let's have them running around cutting pigs heads off and killing each other.

Doctor Faustus- interesting, easy read, stupid plot though.

    Tartuffe- rhymed. *squee*

Yeah. I don't like forced reading.

Gawd. that book was horrible. And the movie was just as bad. Except for how Piggy got hit by a rather large rock dead in the face... That was kinda funny. x_x

    Moloka'i by Alan Brennert

Wonderful story of how the life of a seemingly normal girl in Hawai'i gets turned over just because she was spotted with a pink mark on her leg.

A few mentioned that I like on this last page alone, specifically The Fountainhead and 1984.

The last novel I read was Stephen Hero, by James Joyce. It's an early attempt at what later before A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man, so I'd recommend it only to those who've read Joyce before. The last non-fiction book I read was Huntingdon's The Clash of Civilizations, which was very good.

Al-Qaeda: The True Story of Radical Islam, by Jason Burke. I recommend it for those who want to see past the official portrayal.
