Amazon Bans LGBT Book Searches

    I have just been on Amazon.co.uk and had no problem searching for gay related books, DVD's and so on!!!
    Is it just the US amazon???

    That is a poor decision on their part. Amazon is where I got my gay books. I will have to stop shopping there.

    Well, I've only used Amazon once or twice before, but I guess I won't be using it permanently now.

    I am on Amazon right now and I am having no problem looking up gay related materials.

    It is not so much finding it, but when you go to sort it by bestselling, you get crap. It has removed the rankings.

    It surprises me, not because I thought Amazon cared about equality and whatnot, but simply because promoting LGBT books implies more money for the company.

    McDonalds caved to pressure from Focus on Family to stop being gay friendly!

    It seems to be working for me. I just searched up lesbian books as I sometimes do and it comes up with everything. In fact the first book on the list is Lesbian Sex: 101 Lovemaking Positions - if it was banned then I'm sure that wouldn't come up.

    They aren't banning the books so much as screwing with the way you can find them. Search lesbian, and then have it sort by bestselling. The titles that come up are not lesbian books. Doing the same with homosexuality gets you results with how to prevent homosexuality in your children.
