I realized I was gay when...

I knew something was different about me since I was little. All the girls I knew were boy crazy,I wasn't. When I was 14 a girl kissed me! That was it! All bets were off. I had my first relationship at 16 and came out the same year. ( I actually broke down the closet door! I have never been subtle!)

 

As soon as I discovered the internet ^^

 

I was a weird kid. I had crushes on guys but I think it's because I was a romantic at heart, and once upon a time I followed the rules. You know the story. Girl + Boy = Happily Ever After.

I also wanted to be a boy.

And a cat.

So, y'know...I think I just had it coming, hahah.

 

Well, I've always had some signs throughout my life (everyone but myself could probably see it from space :lol but I think the final straw for my rampant denial was when I couldn't stop thinking or staring about a certain girl in my class at about age 12. This wasn't like the many crushes on girls that had come and gone, I was totally besotted with her.

 

Same thing with me!
I also realized it when I couldn't stop staring when the girls in my martial arts class bent so it was easy to see down their shirts...

 

I knew I was gay when...

Despite being "good enough to play with the boys", I chose to play on the all girls hockey team. Because of the locker room time. =]

 

This one brings a smile to my face. The summer between my sophomore and junior year in high school we were practicing for marching band. There was this one drummer that was wearing a really tight t-shirt and shirts that really showed off his ass. I just remember standing there imagining him naked.

 

My 4th grade teacher got pregnant and i was obsessed with her boobs getting bigger and bigger. Seriously, i couldn't look away

 

i realized i was gay when i pretended to be a boy for a week, called max, on my caravan holiday. none of the kids on the campsite had any idea, i even used the boys bathrooms.:eusa_liar

 

I realized I was gay when my girlfriend and I both admitted to each other that we had a crush on someone else...and it was the same guy >.<

 

i realized i was gay when a dare game at a party got a bit out of control

 

well, im not going to go into details, but i realized when i was gay when i remembered something that i did with a certain someone, and i liked it.......

 

I realized I was gay when the first girl I fell in love with started dating a man and my heart was broken. It's usually a pretty good sign

 

I had a couple of "final pointers" that made me realise...

Firstly, a conversation with a gay couple I'm good friends with, which somehow got onto the subject of how they "discovered" being gay, and I totally related to everything they said! That was about 8 months ago.

Then I realised it may not be normal for straight guys to try to imagine what other guys look like sans clothing... which I've been doing all my life and wondering if it's normal. I now know it is perfectly normal, if you're gay!
