No, I am not in the slightest turned on by my own body. I see all my flaws in the mirror and I know it is unhealthy, but I tear myself up emotionally about how I look. I don't think it is a stupid, vane, or narcissistic thing if you are turned on by yourself, but I am not.

I must be incredibly vain because I do get turned on by my own body. I have imperfections of course (bags under my eyes, an overbite, moderate acne, doorknobs for knees) but I concentrate more on the things that I do like about myself.

I like to stare at my face and my body naked and try all these facial expressions and poses for like 20 min. Maybe I am narcissitic.

 

I hate mirrors, all I ever see are my flaws, and I've got many from my point of view

what I don't get is that some of my friends say that they hate their body, but they're utterly stunning! me on the other hand... no way :bang:

 

I don't find a single thing about my body attractive :/, other people seem to though :S.

 

Thanks for the support. I don't actually cry over how I look, I am more comfortable with myself then that. I usually just make jokes about myself and how I look, and surprisingly it makes me feel a little better, I don't know why though. I don't think it is disgusting to like your body shape or anything, it is actually something I think we should all be proud of even I am not.

I wouldn't say I get turned on by myself cause that just seem's a little bit creepy to me but I don't have a problem with the way I look I think I am fairly pretty and am not a bad looking girl but I still see my imperfection's and they annoy me so I by no mean's think I am perfect or fantisizeable about (I don't think that is even a word but I think you get what I mean)

For me, anyways, I think my body is a tomb of darkness and despair and ugliness. Not once can I look at myself and think 'I dont look too bad'.

I may have misread the early posts, but I think the question was more whether you are turned on by bodies the same sex as yours. Definitely YES to that one. I am really turned on by good looking male physique. Actually, tho, I really like the beauty of the female form, too. Mabye its because the male form is more familiar to me that a nice male form probably turns me on more than a nice female form.

Of the question as answered, tho, I'd probably answer yes, my body turns me on a bit, too. Its far from perfect, but i sure enjoy inhabiting it!

LOL! Never. I don't really like seeing myself in mirrors when I'm nude I am not an exhibitionist by any means. However when I am dressed up I check myself out in the mirror. I look over myself to make sure I look good

 

Well, I'm a girl...and I LOVE women's bodies..but..I just can't seem to see my own body as a woman's body. I know it is and I probably don't make any sense. But when I look in the mirror, even though there are breasts and hips and such, I can't help but see a man's physique. I dunno, maybe I'm just delusional. So, I don't get turned on by my own body because it's a woman's, since I don't see it as a woman's. You know what I mean?
But I am pretty confident in my appearance.

No, I don't get turned on by myself. I doubt that even if I had the sexiest, most perfectly attractive body I would get turned on by myself. I mean, because, it's me. That'd be weird.

 

Yes, I like my own body for the most part. I wish I was a bit less hairy in my torso (and I wish I didn't have to wear glasses), but I've definitely had those moments getting out of the shower where I've said: "wow, I think that's hot"

 

Well being turned on by your own body in itself isn't vain.. But when people jack off to their own body and use it as a means to inflate their ego then yes, it IS vain. ^_^
