I watched this movie with my mom. We both sat there and cried. It was one of the most
touching movies I've seen in a long time. What did you think?

I loved it. I liked when Bobby's mom and the priest were trading interpretations of the bible. I also like how they mentioned PFLAG. I hope some parents out there who has a gay child sees it and finally accepts their child.

When it was over,I hugged my mom and thanked her for being the kind of mom who accepts me,the way I am. Trust me,it wasn't always like this. I'm just happy it is NOW!
I have told her about EC and what others have gone through. She was so sad about it. But,she was that way, before. There IS hope for all of you whose parents are negative.
I always try to give people hope that things will get better. Just try to always be who you are supposed to be.

The movie was so touching! I almost cried, especially like KatzInHatz said when she hugged the guy in the crowd. I wanted to watch it with my parents, but I didn't think they'd be interested.

My mom and I watched it together and cried through pretty much all of the last half. Afterwards, she came over to me and we talked for a bit and hugged. It was so touching. I'm still crying right now actually.

I'm blessed to have such an extremely supportive parent who has unconditional love for me. I have so much sorrow for those are less fortunate and have to deal with situations like the one Bobby was in. It's not right at all that lives end because of people's ignorance.

As for the movie, I thought it was done fairly well and conveys an excellent message. I think the acting could have been a bit better in the beginning, but overall, the story was told very nicely.

It was a good movie. It's such a shame it had to happen that way. Now I definitely want to read the book.

This is the only movie that has made me cry while watching it... not just teary eyed. It was really good, and really moving.

Poor David (but what a cutie, lol).

haha yeah i agree. he was a cutie. but yes i was going to make a topic for the movie as soon as i watched it. it was amazinggg. absolutely loved it. i was watching it with my sister who doesnt know about me and she seemed very sympathetic. soo thats a good sign! anyway, a lot of the moments in there had me thinking about similar situations between me and my mom, and were not even christian. i guess it just shows that this movie can be applied even across religious bounds. excellent work lifetime for such a touching movie!
