Okay so I was watching the newest Bell Mobility commerical (Canadian exclusive this hint is) and all these guys start jamming this like song from the 70's for the holiday (I'm positive it's 70's) and I really want to know the name of it! It's bugging the crap out of me! Okay so if your not from Canadian I'll try my best to recreate the lyrics. So it's definatly a woman singer, So the chorus is I just want to love you or I can't love another Then this wierd whistle--flute---BEEOOOOWWW sound Followed by what might be Music in the house ah ah ah Music in the house. Or something. I really don't know. Try to find a song that sounds like she could be singing that. I don't know the lady sorta sounds like the lady from Funky Town--but I think it's a different band. Someone who knows the 70's or seen this commerical is probobly the best bet to getting me the FREAKIN NAME OF THIS SONG. And if you actually know the song...I'm going to be very impressed. I may give you the trophy of Ultimate Music-Trivia-Champ.
Oh! I think its I'm So Excited I dont know but who but Im pretty sure by woman singer, 70's and such...try that.
who's the singer? Do you know? The commerical is really new. It's for christmas. It's something like..this guy sees this other guy playing a song and he txts his friend, "Come Jam" And then all of a sudden there's a tuba and a guitar and stuff. Maybe overtime somebody will see this commerical. And be like, "OMG the song is ____" But I can't find the song, "I'm so excited" Besides in order to fit the lyrics it'd have to be I'm Just so excited. I can't love one another. Is what it could be too. And no it's not I'm so excited, I just can't hide it.
I believe it's Groove is in the Heart - Deelite, or at least the lyrics KINDA fit..Although they are: I couldn't dance for another (Ah ah ah ah ah) No, I couldn't dance for another Groove is in the heeaaart Groove is in the Heeaart etc etc What do I win?
OMG DAVO. OMG! OMG! I freakin LOVEYOU. You win my undying gratitude. Also I'll perform the sacred rite of Walrusism and give you a spiritual walrus guardian who will protect you from demons of the netherworld. Totally not the 1970's I guess..
You might be interested to know that the bass line for Deee-Lite's Groove Is In The Heart is a sample -- the original is a Herbie Hancock chart called something like Bring Out the Birds. I hope Hancock gets paid by Bell for the TV ad.
