Faking It

I actually think two guys making out is as hot as two girls making out*. The only thing I don't think is that hot is a guy making out with a girl.

*I think it's hot if the people involved are attractive.

It is really annoying that people fake it. I work at a junior high and there are girls that make out in the hallway just for attention. It's really annoying for a couple of reasons
    1. They're in junior high, most likely 13-14, I don't want to see anyone that age making out, it's gross.
    2. They're 13-14ish, if these girls really are lesbians (i think) that chances are they aren't ready to be out to the whole school so making out in public isn't the best idea.
    3. It's school. Students forget that when they kiss someone at school it's not just their classmates that see, the students and other staff see too and it makes it awkward for them too.

Gay is a trend at my school and it's being led by this one kid

He is legitimately gay, and all these kids want to be his friend. So to impress him, they make out with other boys and other girls.

To disprove one of them, we were at a party and I started kissing him. And I got so in to it because I was determined to prove he was heterosexual.
After the kiss, I grabbed his crotch and low and behold... he was completely flaccid. I wasn't expecting a raging erection, but no blood and flowed to his crotch... at all. I made a big scene of it, and now people take the gay trend less seriously.

I've heard reports of this but, where I'm from I don't think it happens much, everyone here is pretty much universally homophobic, so I don't think it happens here

I know girls fake it all the time. But I've never heard of guys faking. That sounds pretty odd to me. Girls naturally are touchy feely with their friends and "it's ok for girls to think other girls are hot" so it's not much of a stretch for straight girls to kiss other straight girls. But the thought of guys faking it sounds so weird. I couldn't picture any of my straight guy friends making out, but I can picture my straight girl friends making out (cause it's actually happened when alcohol is involved).

I don't try to rag on people about it too much. I mean at it's base level how is it different than some gay people trying to act straight?

You do have a point...somewhat...but the motivations behind acting straight and acting gay are totally different.

Straight people don't get made fun of for being straight.

Gay people don't act straight to get attention or to attract the same sex, gay people act straight to fit in and to not be judged or picked on.

Yup, exactly. The only reason that I ever didnt accept that I'm gay is because I didnt know people that are gay, or even people that are accepting and willing to advocate for gay rights. I know that if anyone finds out I'm gay, me and anyone 'stupid enough' to be associated with me will be harassed. I think that people harassing my best friend will be harder to deal with than people harassing me. I love my best friend so much, she's the most amazing person I've ever met and I would hate to see her get hurt because of me.

doesnt this go back to the whole "i want a guy that likes doing what i do" shopping/fashion
like will and grace, but the guy is straight, so they can get married and stuff
    something like that no?

Nah... I think it's something like the straight guys getting turned on by lesbian porn thing. Straight girls just get turned on by gay porn (or something similar).

I'm not sure who's heard this before but we have two words where I'm from for girls who pretend to be lesbians and really arent...

    LUG-Lesbian until graduation
    BUG-Bi until graduation

It may not be true, but for most...it really is. My favorite are the girls who "just love" kissing other girls but only do it when they're completely drunk. Just saying....some girls are special...
