I am. Flat out I am extremely proud of Facebook. What I mean by this is well... the election coming up. On Facebook there are applications and on Pieces of Flair (a personal favorite) the Republican and Democratic flair is equal. There are just as many Republican trashing flair as there are Democratic trashing flair. Something about that warms my heart. I guess it is because I know that Facebook (same with myspace and other popular sites of the same nature) are filled with soon to be first time voters who are unsure on what to choose... I like it to be neutral on these sites that way IF that person votes, it is because they want to and for who they want and who they want isn't the person who got bashed least on Facebook (or similar site.) Anyone else happy about the equality of the bashings?
I love Pieces of Flair. I don't think it's the Facebook staff who make the flair - I've made a couple myself - but it is good to see that it's not all one-sided.
I know it isn't the staff who makes it. I'm just happy it is even. When I say proud of Facebook I mean the people on it. I still just keep smiling when I think of the fact it is even. I guess I'm just corny. haha
Flair is one of my favorite facebook applications. I dislike the dirty, hateful "trashing" flair.... I think you can have anti-republican or anti-democrat (or ones for or against specific candidates) flair that pokes fun at them, while not being too mean. I'm not looking forward to the update that's coming to facebook though.
I like the new facebook look. At first it confused me but I mean why bother changing it to old when this is the direction they are going? Seriously, I can't stand those people who CONSTANTLY complain about the new facebook. I saw a petition against it. How sad.
I LOVE PIECES OF FLAIR!!!!! my friend sent me one with dumbledor that says "bitch, you did not just call me santa", and i have been obbssesed with it since. i love how more people on facebook are more mature than on myspace or livejournal. but youre right, the equal bashing is good.
