Do you have something that you have kept for a while that means something to you? maybe a present or something along those lines? I kept my first handmade archer's bow. It's awesome!
I actually have this "friendship" bracelet from one of my crushes at camp. Whenever I lose it (which there have been many times), I freak out, but I find it eventually. I find it so special.
I still have the teddy bear named Teddy that my mother gave me when I was 2½ for Christmas. It said, "Hug me" "I love you" "You make me happy" and "Mommy, I love you" I am suprised that the "Mommy, I love you" still works...
I have a birthday card, from my brother, that ive kept ever since he died. It said "I know that we've grown apart with age, but i want you to know, no matter what i'll always be your big brother. I love you." It makes me cry every time i read it.
I wear this swatch watch my parents bought me years ago. And sometimes I even have nightmares where I forgot to wear it when I am out
I have a stuffed animal I was given when I was 1 or 2 that a family friend lent me, when we moved, she wanted it back, so my mom gave it back, they left the room for a few minutes, and while they were gone, I stood up and walked over to it, they came in midway, and she was so surprised I cared so much about the tiger (it was my first steps), that she gave it to me, I don't remember her, but I love that tiger, but it's being held captive in a box with all my stuffed animals in my sisters room
My grandmother made me a comforter when I was 12 or so. It's beat up, the stitching came out, and all the stuffing shifted. I reshifted it, sewed it back up, and still use it. Lex
An old cane made of like the hardest wood in the world, from when I did missionary work in Africa, it has beautiful carvings all over it. I traded my belt and socks for it. I tied a little dreamcatcher onto it, a gift from a famous canadian medicin man, I met with him when I took the train to Longlac, a village that is about 18 hours north of Toronto. Its in my room. The Cane will never Break, its meant to be harder than some stones...
I still have my baby blanket, too. I call it blankie and I still sleep with it sometimes, heh. I also have a tiny stuffed animal polar bear that is named "Pol" (sounds like Pol in Polar, how original). I love my stuffed animals/bed buddies! ...wait...
Well I've had alot more years to collect stuff than you guys but I have a dress I wore as a baby, a bald baby doll of mine (yes, I cut her hair off), I saved some baby clothes/shoes from each of my kids. I have quilts that my grandmothers made me who are now gone. I have a jewelry box my mom gave me on my 18th birthday. I have every gift my kids ever made me in school. Oh....I have some green jelly beans that a teacher crush gave me in high school. :icon_bigg
My treasure is a bedspread that ive had since i was like in 3rd grade, its a wrestling bedspread, but i still have it, on my bed, i love it...lol...
A Christmas card from my biggest crush. Funnily enough, she stopped sending me Christmas cards after I told her my feelings so it's pretty special.
... I totally can't think of anything that has a whole lot of sentimental value for me. >_> Time to reexamine my life!
I kept every single letters my friend gave me... They are important to me. Even tho I don't talk to them now. Still really special.
